Rabindranath Tagore University, commonly known as RTU Bhopal, is a private university located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The university was established in 2014 by the AISECT Group, one of India’s leading education and skill development organizations. UG Admission 2025

RNTU Bhopal offers admission to a 4-year full-time UG program in various specialisations. RNTU Bhopal Admission to UG is based on Merit, followed by Counselling. A candidate seeking admission to the UG program must have 10+2 with 50% aggregate marks.

PG Admission 2025

• RNTU Bhopal offers admission to a 2-year full-time PG program in various specialisations. RNTU Bhopal Admission to PG is based on Merit, followed by Counselling. A candidate seeking admission to the PG program must have a graduation with 50% aggregate marks.
  
• Admission to courses like the MSc in Forensic Sciences is based on AIFSET, followed by Counseling. Meanwhile, candidates seeking admission to the MBA should have appeared for the CAT exam.

Admission Process 2025

• RNTU Bhopal's Admission process is conducted in an online mode. Admission to most of the UG and PG is based on merit, followed by counseling. Admission to BSc and MSc in Forensic Sciences courses is based on a national-level entrance exam, namely AIFSET.
  
• Candidates have to appear for the exams such as JEE Main, CAT/MAT for B.Tech/BE, and MBA. Based on the entrance score, candidates have to register for JoSAA Counselling for B.Tech/BE admissions.
  
• For PhD applications, students have to apply at @rntu.ac.in. The application fee is INR 3,000 (non-refundable) for all candidates. Selection for PhD courses will be based on AJEE score/rank, followed by Personal Interviews conducted by the institute.
  

Scholarship

The Rabindranath Tagore University was established in the Raisen District near Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh with the sole aim of providing quality education affordably to the youth of the backward regions. The task comes with an undeniable responsibility to build an education system that is both easily accessible and affordable to the students.

The university was established to support various government initiatives and policies like the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), Digital India, Swachh Bharat, Jandhan Yojana and more. The government also provides reservations and scholarship programs to students from backward classes and lower economic backgrounds.

To help the government in activities shared on the M.P. Scholarship Portal, RNTU has launched its own scholarship program with the name Shiksha Mitra Scholarships. It is the largest University aided Scholarship Program at the state level. The scholarships worth Rs. 1 Crore are to be handed out under this programme.

The scholarship scheme rewards the scholarship to the students based on their marks in 12th standard board examinations. The following conditions are applicable if you want to apply for scholarship with the Rabindranath Tagore University :

• The rank holder prizes are valid only according to the letters sent from school principals. The students who think they are eligible for the scholarship should contact their school principal for the same.
  
• All the scholarships provided by the university are based on the merit and are awarded on a first come first serve basis depending upon the availability of the seat.
  
• The decision of University Management for the grant of scholarships is final.
  
• The university also offers scholarships to those who are applying for postgraduate programs. In such cases the university takes the graduation marks into account with the same terms and conditions as above.

Training and Placement Department (T & P) at RNTU, Bhopal is vibrant and strives to place students of all the streams and courses running in the university. The department of T & P is known for extending full-time services to the students by providing proper guidelines to get placed in campus interviews. The T&P is headed by Mr. Abhishek Shroti having 11+ years of Experience in T&P Field. T&P Team strives hard to contact company officials and invite them to visit the University to recruit eligible students. Various training programs are also organized for overall development of all the students. Soft skills, Aptitude and Technical training classes are held regularly so that the students are well prepared to face the company interviews with confidence. The department offers the students a wide variety of information, guidance and support for their future and advises them on their career path and areas of specialization. Interaction with the industry is done on a regular basis as many speakers from well known companies share their expertise with our students.

Workshops, Seminars, Industrial Visits and Expert Lectures are regular feature in the University. The Library is fully computerized. Student can search for information using OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue). The Library is equipped with Automation Software (SOUL 2.0) all the activities of the Library: cataloguing, circulation is managed by SOUL 2.0 developed by INFLIBNET, Ahmadabad. We have managing partially digital library through Open Sources Library Software (Greenstone digital library software and Koha 2.2.9 Library Software) and E-Resources Packages.
