Raichur University is a new university in Karnataka state of raichur district in India. under its official section has two major districts called yadgiri and raichur. Colleges and pg centers of both yadgiri and raichur district belongs to Raichur University.

Functions of IQAC

Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the University;
Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process;
Arrangement for feedback response from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes;
Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education;
Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles;
Documentation of the various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement;
Acting as a nodal agency of the Institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices;
Development and maintenance of institutional database through MIS for the purpose of maintaining /enhancing the institutional quality;

Raichur Facilities

The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Raichur, Karnataka provides many facilities to its students which are extended to the students admitted in the Government Engineering College, Raichur campus. Currently, the institute is functioning from the temporary transit campus at GEC Raichur. The construction of the permanent campus of IIIT Raichur will soon commence. Even though Indian Institute of Information Technology, Raichur, Karnataka functions from the transit camp, the students are not deprived of any facilities which are essential for their comprehensive development. The computer laboratories, hostel accommodation facilities, auditorium, playgrounds, and other fundamental provisions are available for the students.

, Karnataka awards scholarships to the meritorious students who secure a constant CGPA throughout the IIIT Raichur course. The students of IIIT, Raichur are invited to the campus of IIT Hyderabad, its mentor institute for various workshops and seminars which proves to be an added help in their academics.
