Dawood Batcha Educational and Charitable Trust was registered in chennai in the year 1998 uder the chairmanship of Dr.M.A.Dawood Batcha Ph.D., the trust has devoted itself in running educational institutions, espicially in rural arears. it started its first institution, namely, RDB College of Arts and Science in Papanasam, Thanjavur Dt in 1999. the RDB Institutions of Management, with the approval of all india council for technical education, New Delhi was inculded in this college in 2003. Two matriculation school- RDB National Matriculation School. Rajagiri and RDB Matriculation Higher secondary school, Papanasam - were added in 2007 to the list of the Educational Institutions of the Trust.
The Quality of the institutions enable the students to become self - reliant and successful in their and to be better citizens of India through Commitment, Dedication, Loyalty and Sincerity.
The slogan " AIM HIGH, AIM FAR" has been fixed as the motto of the educational instituions run by the Trust.

Completed application must be submitted to :

Applications can be sent online, by post or by courier or in Person within 10 days from the date of the publication of +2 Results. The candidates selected for provisional admission will be intimated to their registered address. The selected candidate must report for admission at the specified time and date with all the original certificates and pay the fees as directed.
Spot admission may also be made in deserving cases.

Placement Cell

A Placement cell is functioning in the college. A senior staff member is incharge of the cell. He keeps in contact with various leading and multinational organizations to get employment opportunities for our students. Similarly, many organizations contact us for campus recruitment. Every year a significant number of our students get employment though campus selection. The salary of these recruits range from Rs.8000 to Rs.25000 per month.

Training programs are arranged in Marketing, Finance and Human Resource fields of various companies in and around Thanjavur, Thiruvarur and Nagapattinam districts. Placement has been provided in Tata Life Insurance, Duruva Finance Ltd., Reliance Life Insurance and leading MNC in marketing, Finance, HR and System fields.

Library

The College has a information Centre (Library), with thousands of volumes of books on all subjects, has been established within the campus. It is one of the biggest libraries in this area with more than 80 periodicals on all subjects. The Information Centre will be open on all working days from 8.45 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. The inmates of the Hostel can utilize the Information Centre round the clock.

Transport facility is provided by the management, on concessional fare, from different places in and around Papanasam. Presently one bus and eight vans are operated.
