For this noble cause RGC was established in 2002 under the aegis of Sainath Education Trust by Shri Haribansh Singh. It has grown to be a reckoning force in the world of education with pupil teachers fired with determination to excel, a competent and dedicated faculty meticulously designed curriculum and the optimum infrastructure. As we move forward, RGC remains an institution of research and scholarship, and of uplifting education. Admission

Right of admission is reserved by the principal.

All admission is provisional until all necessary original certificates are submitted to the office and same is confirmed by the University of Mumbai.

No admission shall be regarded as per proper unless, it is granted by the authority of the principal.

All admissions are valid only for one academic year (subject to satisfactory attendance & performance in test/tutorials etc.) and will require renewal by application in the prescribe form for each subsequent year of enrolment as a student of the college.

Students shall ensure and reconfirm their eligibility to the course before making formal application.

Admission are as per rules of Govt./University.

Students who have passed Second Year of Junior College (H.S.C./XII Std.) examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education are eligible for admission to the first year of Degree College (F.Y.B.Com /B.Sc. /Comp. Sci./I.T.) in the stream in which he/she has passed – the HSC examination. Student who passed HSC (XIIth Std.) examination conducted by any other statutory Board in India are eligible for admission to F.Y.B.Com /B.Sc., B.Sc.(Comp. Sci), B.Sc.(I.T.) BMS Class provided they produce provisional eligibility certificate obtained from University of Mumbai. However, Passing Certificate Transfer Certificate and Migration Certificate from previous Board attended should be submitted before the end of the first term. Student who passed an examination conducted by college affiliated to any other University and seeking admission to higher class will have to submit the provisional eligibility certificate issued by University of Mumbai and Mark sheet, Transfer Certificate and Migration Certificate issued by the previous University before the end of the first term. Students who have passed F.Y./S.Y.B.Com./B.Sc.Comp/Sci/I.T. examination from other colleges affiliated to University of Mumbai and seeking admission to higher classes in the college will have to submit NOC and Transference certificate from their previous college.

Career Guidance program on “Combined Defence Services Examination by UPSC . Two hour session conducted in auditorium. Mr. R.S Tope from SPAARTA Training Institute guided the student regarding type of commission and other details regarding entry in different wings of defence.

Career orientation programme on “Fashion design, interior design and fashion photography” on 28/08/2015.In this programme Ms. Jasmit kaur has given important guidelines on certificate courses offered by J.D. institute of fashion technology, Vashi, Navi-Mumbai.

Career orientation programme held on “Software Testing Tool- Selenim IDE” on 4th Dec 2015.In this programme Mr.Rohit Sharma has given important guidelines on certificate course in Software Testing and future opportunities in testing for final year students. Conducted by Squad Infotech Pvt. Ltd, Vashi, Navi-Mumbai.

Career orientation seminar held on “Quantitative Aptitude” on 19th Dec 2015.In this program Mr. Vikash Swarrop, Director of Prognoz Technology, has given important tips and tricks to solve aptitude problems in lesser time for various competitive exams.

Carrier counseling seminar on Travel and Tourism on 21st Dec 2015. Ms. Priya Sengupta has made aware of job opportunities in tourism sector to our students and also explained training programs by IATA consultancy.

Placement committee took the final year IT and CS students to Non-Engineering pooled recruitment drive at SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Nerul. 12 students of IT and CS attended and two of them gone up to third round.

Placement committee organized the campus interview on 14th sep 2015 in the college premises for Tellecaller job. 50 students are attended the interview and 17 students got selected.

Library

The College library displays a rich collection of more than 50,000 titles and about 98 periodicals published in India and abroad. The Library has study spaces with a mix of quiet individual and group study areas. The Library provides a book-bank facility too for lending textbooks to needy and deserving students for a period of one year at a stretch. Internet facility is now available for students inside the library premises itself.

Sports

The college has sports facilities for all students.

I.T Infrastructure

The college has IT labs well equipped with computers and updated software’s which students can avail the facilities to the fullest. Also, Seminar rooms where we have overhead projectors which are used as a part of curricular activities.

Cafeteria

The college has a canteen at the ground floor building with a variety of foods for students and staff

The college has a good networking for the alumni association.

Laboratories

The College has separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Psychology, Computer Science, and IT. All the laboratories are adequately equipped as per the University norms.

Auditorium

The College has a fully air-conditioned, ICT-enabled auditorium with 180 seating capacity. The various programs like seminars, talks by eminent scholars, etc., are arranged in the Hall

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
