Admission Procedure

The admissions at RLJIT Doddaballapur are done on the basis of KCET and COMED-K UGET for undergraduate engineering programmes. The exams and counselling process is conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) and candidates have to register for the same in order to obtain seat allotment. The admissions at RLJIT Doddaballapur are done for five branches of engineering offered at the institute.

The R. L. Jalappa Institute Of Technology library and information center is an integral part of RLJIT. The library is a treasure house of information center of intellectual activity of any institution.Their library and information center is one among few top engineering college libraries. The library has a total area of 1080 sqm with well equipped, adequate number of books, journals, technical and general magazines. Currently, the library has 21,000 volumes of books with 4890 titles. It has a comprehensive collection of literature related to engineering and its allied subjects to meet the needs of the users. They have subscribed number of national, international and E-journals (IEEE-ASPP).The library has open access system and books are classified according to Dewey decimal classification. The library has fully computerized and used for I Lib integrated library management software.

The Department of Physical Education is well equipped with modern infrastructure and includes activities like Swimming, Archery, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Table tennis, Cricket, Football and hockey. Sports are in fact a way of life for the student’s conscious and health fitness. Regular physical activity improves strength and endurance.Physical education, a learning experience, offers a unique opportunity for self-expression and socialization. Good reading room, recreation center etc. is the attraction.They have 3 types of mess that is North Indian, North Karnataka & South Karnataka.They separate hostel blocks for Seniors, Juniors. The Hostels are provided with solar heater and good Cooking accessories & good Ventilation facility. Senior faculty members are made as Wardens to look after the day-to-day working of the Hostel and the discipline of boarders. They will work under the guidelines of the Director/Principal.
