Established in 2009, the college is managed by the Roever Educational and Social Welfare Trust, founded by Dr. K. Varadarajan. Placement Cell of Roever Engineering College which brings about the synergy between the students & their mentors, who have exposure & access to the industrial avenues. On the one hand the placement cell is involved in activities like placement and frequent personal interaction with students which basically helps to understand & realize problems of the students at ground level. REC Library is located in the first floor of Admin Block and it is spread over 1150 sq.m. The Library has a good collection of books covering various branches of Engineering, Humanities & Science and other books related to Competitive Examinations. The Library has Acquisition Section, Technical Section, Circulation Section, Reference Section, Periodical Section and Digital Library Section. The Reading Hall of Library can accommodate around 164 members at time.The Physical Education Department of ROEVER ENGINEERING COLLEGE is functioning effectively and successfully. The management provides necessary facilities to the students for pursuing sports and games. The Physical Education director provides training and makes arrangements for the participation of students in various sports & games, and also maintaining the play grounds.

Hostel

The College has a hostel named after the Father of the Institutions as " Hans Roever Hostel".

Application for admission to the hostel along with prescribed form can be had from the office on payment. A student seeking admission should be accompanied by his parent/authorized Guardian and only after an interview by the Principal / Warden he/she will be given admission.Admission will depend on the decision of the Management. A senior student wishing to be re-admitted shall apply again in the prescribed form after meeting the Deputy Warden with the Parent / Guardian. Dismissal or suspension of a member from the College will involve automatic dismissal or suspension from the hostel, such students shall not enter the hostel without the permission of the Principal.

Transport

Twenty Five buses are made available to facilitate the staff and students. The buses are operated from Ariyalur, Pennadam, Thozhudur, Thuraiyur, Veeraganur and Trichy. The students while travelling on the college bus must behave decently. They should not create any problem with the driver or cleaner. The buses will stop only at the stage that is fixed by the transport division. The student’s Co-operation is expected for the smooth functioning of the transport facilities extended towards them.
