Rohini College of Engineering & Technology (Autonomous) - RCET, a Top Class Engineering College in the Kanyakumari District of Tamil Nadu, is a Private, Self-Financing, Non-Minority, Autonomous and Co-Education Institution. It was established in the year 2012 by the Founder - Chairman of Rohini College of Engineering & Technology - Shri.K.Neela Marthandan, a well known and respected Industrialist and philanthropist. The Institution is now being headed by his son Dr.N.Neela Vishnu, MBA., D.Litt, Pro Chairman, Rohini College of Engineering & Technology.

Rohini College of Engineering & Technology is located at Palkumlum, Kanyakumari District. Variyoor Post, Kanyakumari.It is located at Palkulam near Anjugramam junction & Kanyakumari, the southernmost town in India on a 13 Acre part of a mammoth 350 Acres Campus Size. RCET is about 5 kms from the Kanyakumari railway station and 14 kms from Nagercoil junction. The main feature of the college comprises world class infrastructure with experienced and talented faculties, excellent pass percentage, good placement records and society-oriented products/projects developed by the students.

RCET offers all round development of students, by giving importance to physical education. The Department of Physical Education to instill the spirit of sportsmanship in technical students, to help them learn discipline, leadership quality, teamwork, and encourage them to participate in smorgasbord of activities such as Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Cricket, Handball, Football, Chess, Throw ball, Athletics Kho Kho etc. It also organizes Intramural activities, Extramural activities, coaching for various games and training for elite sports competitions. Some athletes are eligible for sports scholarships through the colleges.

Transport

College runs several buses to four different locations of four districts namely Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Tuticorin & Trivandrum for staff and students. The schedule of bus trips is being arranged so as to enable all the students and staff to reach college and also leave for town after the college hours. We ensure the students safety by employing well-experienced set of drivers with speed control devices and first aid box in all the buses.
