R.R. College of Veterinary and Animal Science, Deoli was established in 2021 by Micro Vision Society (MVS) whose Chairman is the supreme and ultimate authority of the College Management.  The Dean of the college manages the Personnel matters.  MVS established RRCVAS, Deoli with the objective of doubling Farmer's income through adoption of Animal Husbandry programs along with agriculture and to give emphasis to species-wise Animal Research Centre in order to improve the species and to obtain high productivity so that the doubling of farmer's income can be achieved.  This is in tune with the objective of the Government of India.

Whenever there is talk about institutions that have made an impact, a whole lot of praises are showered on R.R. College of Veterinary as they have an impressive record of achievements. This institute has turned into a place for higher learning in Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry and is steadily growing in stature.

RRCVAS is located in a beautiful campus on N.H.12, Jaipur Road, Deoli, (Tonk), Rajasthan.

R.R. College of Veterinary & Animal Science is approved by Veterinary Council of India (VCI). The College is affiliated with the Rajasthan University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS) Bikaner.

RRCVAS offers Bachelors degree (B.V.Sc.&A.H.) courses of five and half years duration in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry. It follows the course curriculum prescribed by the Veterinary Council of India, under Minimum Standards for Veterinary Education (MSVE-2016) for Under Graduate studies. All the candidates seeking admission to the B.V.Sc & A.H. Degree Program must appear for NEET (UG)/RPVT.

Besides offering expert faculty, RRCVAS provides outstanding amenities that are necessary for aspirants to achieve their goals.  The four-story building is available for teaching and extension education with well-equipped Laboratories, a well furnished Library with photocopiers, 6 Lecture theatres, Examination halls, Seminar halls, Smart Classrooms, hostels for boys and girls, Auditorium, Cafeteria, Canteen, Communication Centre, Computer Labs, Hostel, Laboratory, Medical facilities, Security, Indoor and Outdoor Games facilities, and other facilities to ensure smooth running of the Veterinary College.

Besides this, RR College of Veterinary & Animal Science, Deoli has very specialized departments which are dedicated to Clinical and Para clinical Studies, Livestock Production, Management, and Livestock Production Technology. The fully functional Veterinary Clinical Complex (VCC) and Livestock Farm Complex (LFC), located in separate buildings under independent control, are adequately equipped with modern and essential facilities like Diagnostic Laboratory, Physiotherapy Equipment, X-ray Machines, and Operation Theatres for both small and large animals. The primary purpose of the departments is to provide education and services to livestock & livestock owners.

The institute will increase its scientific and working capacities by providing faculty members with opportunities to improve their scientific and working capacities. Extending the agricultural sector by providing advisory services, health care, organizing livestock shows and animal welfare camps.

This course is intended to prepare veterinarians to prevent human diseases from being transmitted to humans from animals.

Extension services are provided to farmers and livestock owners.

Ensure enhanced production from rural and urban livestock through effective diseases surveillance and diagnosis, health care, vaccination and production programs

1. The candidate must have attained or will attain the minimum age of 17 years and maximum age of 25 years on or before 31st December of that year.

2. There shall be relaxation of maximum age by 5 years for scheduled caste or scheduled tribes or other backward class candidates.

3. A candidate under general category for admission to the Bachelor of Veterinary and Animal Science Degree course shall have to qualify in each of the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized/ approved board of School examinations and obtained 50% marks in aggregate of these subjects.

4. In respect of candidates belonging to the scheduled caste or the scheduled tribes or other special categories of students as specified by the Govt. from time to time, much required for admission shall be 5% less than that prescribed for general category i.e., 47.5%.

5. In case result of the qualifying admission has been declared publicly but the certificate has not been issued by the concerned Board/University, such candidates shall have to produce a certificate (Annexure 1) from the Head of the Institution last attended.

6. Candidates appearing/ appeared in the qualifying exam i.e., Senior Secondary or its equivalent recognized examination in that year and whose result has not been declared by the last date of submission of Admission Form may also apply but they shall not be eligible for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. course if they, at the time of counselling, do not produce documentary proof of passing qualifying exam with the required percentage of marks as applicable to them.

7. All the candidates seeking admission to the B.V.Sc & A.H. Degree Programme must appear in the NEET-2022 (UG)/ RPVT. Same marks in the NEET-2022 (UG) or otherwise– in case of two or more candidates scoring same marks in the NEET-2022 (UG)/ RPVT, the merit would be decided on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology of 10+2 examinations. If still, there is a tie then the candidate senior in age will be considered higher in the merit.

College Building

The, RR College of veterinary & animal science, Deoli has generated MSVE-2016 facilities for teaching B.V.Sc. & A.H. courses and maintained VCI standards of education. There are fully equipped and functional departments including VCC and LFC, a well furnished library with photocopiers, 6 lecture theatres, examination halls, seminar halls, hostels for boys and girls, indoor and outdoor games facilities, and other accessory facilities such as a computer lab to ensure the smooth running of the Veterinary College.

Extension Activity

The college has adopted different villages namely Sirohi, Gawari, Rajmahal, Sitarampuram nearby of the college for the economic upliftment of the farmers. Faculty of the college used to visit these villages and participated in the Kisan Gosthi and Animal Health Camp organized by concerned Gram Panchayat. First of all the faculty had taken the survey of all these adopted villages and noted all the parameters in questionnaires

Boys Hostel

About 200 students are accommodated in the hostel. Two students share the rooms. Each resident partner of a room is provided with a separate furnished bed, study table, and chair. The rooms are also equipped with cupboards, ceiling fans, air conditioners, light fittings, curtains, etc. The housekeeping staff cleans every day. In the hostel, the washrooms are separate from the rooms. Student dining halls are also available.


Girls Hostel

Girls are provided with separate hostel facilities at our institution, which is located within Deoli city. In addition to being affordable and homely, it is also safe. A hot and cold water supply is available around the clock in the hostel. Our goal is to make the outstation students’ stay as convenient and comfortable as possible.

Sports Complex

Sportsmanship & team effort besides academics are also promoted at the college. Sports facilities on campus include basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, etc. A wide variety of indoor and outdoor games can be played here.

Library

In the college building is a large library equipped with a photocopy machine, computer, and Internet access.As a result of the Library’s extensive collection of books, the college community has enough information resources to meet their various needs. The library’s collection includes textbooks, reference books, manuals, advances, encyclopedias, dictionaries, and annual reports. Magazines, newspapers, journals and magazines (foreign and Indian) are available at the library

Diagnostic Laboratory

Laboratory diagnostic services are provided to veterinarians which help in diagnose disease including blood examinations, urine examinations, faeces examinations, and microbiological work. As well as diagnosing various diseases and mastitis, the Laboratory is being upgraded.

Ambulatory Clinic

An ambulatory clinic is operating to provide the animal treatment at door step of farmers Consultancy Services are also in operation particularly in adopted villages of the college. Apart from serving the animal at door step of the farmer, the student would also get an opportunity to manage and treat the cases in the animal health and treatment camp under the well qualified clinicians

Bus, Staff Cars, Ambulatory Van And Mobile Diagnostics Unit Are Available With College For Clinical Activities As Educational Tour Of The Students.
