Shanmugam, B.A.,LLB, a former MP and MLA, established Moogambigai Charitable and Educational Trust (Regd.) in the year 1992, with a noble intention of gifting professional education of international quality to the deserving students in this country, irrespective of the religion, caste and such intimidating factors, at very affordable cost. Vision
To conduct high quality dental education programme at undergraduate, post graduate and post doctoral level. To help foster acquisition of knowledge in basic, behavioral and clinical sciences so as to prepare the graduates to enter the general practice of dentistry, dental specialities, research and teaching. To encourage research in areas of fundamental oral biology, dental medicine and disseminate this knowledge through discovery oriented methodologies. To provide comprehensive, primary and specialized oral health care to people of all socioeconomic cultural groups and inform the public about the prevention and treatment of oral diseases.
Mission
To be a recognized dental college known for innovative educational programme, research transfer of scientific knowledge, superior skills of a graduate and the highest degree of oral health service.

In order to pursue a BDS degree, aspirants are required to appear and qualify for the National Eligibility Entrance Test. The admission process for the BDS degree comprises filling out the application form for NEET, followed by admit card, conducting the exam, results, and counselling.

Around 90% of the students got placements in the last 2 years. The highest salary package offered was 32.5 LPA. Alibaba and Insavlign are some companies which visited in our college. Around 80-90% of the students get selected in the campus interview.

Boys Hostel
The Rajarajeswari Dental College campus incorporates comfortable accommodation for outstation students in the form of separate Boys Hostels. The hostels offer hygienic, tasty food in the attached mess halls and the hostels are under the care of full-time wardens who are responsible for maintaining and monitoring them. Each hostel is provided dish connected TV’s for students to enjoy their favorite programs. A P.G. Hostel is fast nearing completion.


Girls Hostel
The Rajarajeswari Dental College campus incorporates comfortable accommodation for outstation students in the form of separate Girls Hostels. A fully equipped Multi-Gym is provided inside the campus. All the latest equipment is available for Staff and Students.

The college Library has an air-conditioned facility with over 6000 volumes related to the subject matter of dentistry. The library also subscribes to over 90 national and international journals to help students keep abreast of advances in the field. Through Helinet, students can access the arrangement of E-journals. Additionally, students have open access to the vast library (over 45,000 sq. ft. area) at Rajarajeswari Dental College.


Sports
Outdoor games such as Cricket, football, shuttle, volleyball and throw ball can be played in the playground situated inside the campus. Our teams have participated in many tournaments inside and outside Bangalore and have won many prizes. 350 seater auditorium provides ample opportunity for our staff and students to exhibit their talents in cultural activities. The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.


Cafeteria
The students of RajaRajeswari Dental College and Hospital get mouthwatering AND appetizing foodstuffs at their doorsteps (well ! figuratively). A wide variety of South Indian, North Indian, Chinese and of course Dietary food too is available in the canteen.

Auditorium
The college has a large indoor auditorium with excellent acoustics that is used for the regular seminars and workshops, forming part of the learning process at the college. The college also has access to the ACS Convention Centre, a large (sitting capability more than 4000) auditorium. This facility is used for mega-events such as convocations, conferences as well as for cultural events.


Transport Facility
For the convenience of non-resident students, the Rajarajeswari institutions operate a fleet of buses that offer pick-up and drop facilities to various areas in the city and also between the dental college and the medical college.
