Sahrdaya College of Engineering & Technology (SCET) is a private self-financing autonomous engineering institution located in Kodakara, Thrissur, Kerala. Established in 2002, the college is managed by the Irinjalakuda Diocesan Educational Trust (IDET) under the Catholic Diocese of Irinjalakuda. SCET was founded with the vision of providing value-based technical education, fostering innovation, research, and professional excellence while developing socially responsible engineers and technology leaders capable of meeting global industry demands.

Spread across a 45-acre green campus, the college offers a peaceful and student-friendly learning environment. Admission to Sahrdaya College of Engineering & Technology (SCET), Kodakara is conducted according to the guidelines of the Government of Kerala, the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE Kerala), and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU). For B.Tech programmes, candidates must have completed Higher Secondary (10+2) or an equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology as one of the optional subjects, securing the minimum marks prescribed by CEE Kerala and AICTE. Admission is primarily based on KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical) Entrance Examination ranks through the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP), while a limited number of seats are filled under the management quota as per government regulations. Applicants are required to complete the online application, participate in counselling or management admission procedures, submit the necessary academic and personal documents for verification, and pay the prescribed admission fee to confirm their seat.For M.Tech programmes, candidates should possess a relevant B.E./B.Tech degree with the minimum qualifying marks specified by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. Preference is generally given to candidates with valid GATE scores, while remaining seats may be filled based on merit according to Government and university norms. The admission process includes online registration, submission of academic records, document verification, counselling or interview (if applicable), and payment of fees after seat allotment.Candidates seeking admission to Ph.D. programmes must hold a relevant postgraduate degree with the required academic qualifications prescribed by KTU and the university regulations. Selection is based on the university's admission process, which may include an entrance test and/or interview, followed by document verification and registration. Throughout all programmes, applicants must satisfy the eligibility criteria, submit valid certificates, and complete all admission formalities within the stipulated schedule to secure admission.

Admission Process

• Candidates must pass the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.

• Appear for the KEAM (Kerala Engineering, Architecture & Medical) entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala.

• Register for the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) conducted by CEE Kerala and choose SCET as a preferred institution.

• Seats are allotted based on KEAM rank, reservation policy, and Government of Kerala regulations. A limited number of seats are available under the Management Quota as per norms.

• After seat allotment, candidates must complete document verification, pay the prescribed fees, and report to the college to confirm admission. 

Eligibility

• Passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

• Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects.

• Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject should be one of the optional subjects.

• Must obtain the minimum aggregate marks prescribed by CEE Kerala, AICTE, and KTU.

• Must qualify in KEAM for merit admissions.

M.Tech

Admission Process

• Candidates should apply for M.Tech admission as per the schedule announced by the institution and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU).

• Admissions are primarily based on valid GATE scores.

• If seats remain vacant, eligible non-GATE candidates may be considered based on merit as per Government and KTU regulations.

• Shortlisted candidates undergo document verification and admission formalities.

• Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university.
