Sai University is a new private university, statutorily established by the Tamil Nadu State Legislature vide the Sai University Act, 2018 (Act No. 42 of 2018) and as per section 2(f) of University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, New Delhi, to promote, conceptualize and bring about a paradigm shift through development of outstanding leadership, research, knowledge and ideas for education and allied development sectors.

Sai University District Toppers Scholarship, Young Scholar and Merit Scholar Program


Sai University is committed to making its unique higher education programs accessible to students from all walks of life. SaiU has announced merit scholarships under the ‘District Toppers Scholarship – 100%’, ‘Young Scholar – 50% Scholarship’ and ‘Merit Scholar – 25% Scholarship’ programs for students seeking liberal education undergraduate programs and postgraduate law programs.

Campus Life 

The students, faculty, and staff function from the Sai University Academic Block 1, having a capacity of 250 students, and Academic Block 2 of 500-600 students with air-conditioned classrooms, labs, etc.

These buildings also have faculty offices, staff workstations, a cafeteria, dining space, and spaces with essential amenities.

SaiU campus also has indoor and outdoor recreation facility includes football, volleyball, cricket, shuttle courts), etc.

Residence  life

Sai University provides students a pleasant and a enjoyable living space in villas to learn and interact with other students.

Students are provided villa type air-conditioned rooms on a twin-sharing basis with an attached bathroom. Student rooms are equipped with beds, wardrobe, study table with chair for each student. Each villa has a living room with sofa, TV, dining table, and a kitchen with refrigirator.

The SaiU Student Life team takes care of the room allocation for the students with seperate villas for boys and girls. The residence has a common lounge, kitchen and a dining area where students can eat and relax.

SaiU recreation hub provides indoor and outdoor games facilties – basketball court, football court, table tennis, carrom, chess, gym and swimming pool.

A robust round-the-clock security system, with CCTV surveillance, keeps all the residents safe and secure.

Note: Sai University has partnered with a private property for its residence, present in vadanemmeli, ECR, a 20 mins drive away from the SaiU Campus. Students will commute to the campus through SaiU shuttle (bus & van)

SaiU offers hassle-free transport for day scholars and staff from the city to the SaiU Campus in One Hub Chennai, OMR. The current bus route covers all the prime areas in the city and more pick points will be added for the upcoming batch based on their stay location.
