Admission Process

The admission process at SIIMS is structured and follows the guidelines of Anna University and the Tamil Nadu Government. Candidates seeking admission to the MBA program must first ensure they meet the eligibility criteria, which include holding a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Applicants are required to appear for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) conducted by Anna University. Based on the TANCET score, candidates participate in the centralized counseling process conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE), Tamil Nadu. During counseling, candidates can select SIIMS as their preferred institution. Final admission is granted based on merit, availability of seats, and fulfillment of eligibility requirements.
