Admission Process

SSGMCE Shegaon Admission Process

Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering, Shegaon offers admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The courses offered for SSGMCE Shegaon admissions are B.E, M.B.A and M.E. For SSGMCE Shegaon admission to B.E, candidates have to appear for the entrance exam- MHT CET conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra or JEE Main Paper-1). Following that, the SSGMCE Shegaon cutoff for B.E is released. Then, candidates meeting the cutoff have to participate in CAP counselling for choice filling, choice locking and seat allotment.

Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering admission to M.B.A is done based on candidates’ scores in MAH MBA CET. The SSGMCE Shegaon cutoff for M.B.A is released on the basis of the scores of the entrance exam. Further, candidates are required to participate in CAP counselling for choice filling, choice locking and seat allotment. As per the SSGMCE Shegaon admission process for the M.E programme, candidates should appear for GATE. The M.E admission is done through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) of the DTE Maharashtra for GATE-qualified candidates. Later, shortlisted candidates have to take part in the CAP counselling process for choice filling, choice locking and seat allotment. Final admission is considered after verification of requisite documents and SSGMCE Shegaon admission fee payment.

SSGMCE Shegaon B.E Admission Procedure

Candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria for SSGMCE Shegaon B.E admission.
Eligible candidates have to appear for the entrance exam- MHT CET conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra or JEE Main Paper-1.
Then, the SSGMCE Shegaon cutoff for B.E is released.
To become eligible for CAP the candidates need to register online through the DTE, Maharashtra website.
Candidates are called for MHT CET counselling based on their scores in MHT CET or JEE Main.

The institute has a separate SSGMCE Shegaon placement department for establishing connections between the institute and industry/corporate bodies. SSGMCE Shegaon placement cell organises various training programmes at regular intervals to help students improve their soft skills and general personality. The Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering placement department organises summer and final placement by inviting corporate executives for on and off-campus recruitment programmes. SSGMCE Shegaon placement department is equipped with all audio-visual facilities for assisting in campus activities by the visiting corporate executives. This placement department of SSGMCE Shegaon ensures that all engineering and management graduates are placed in reputed organisations.

The various functions of the SSGMCE Shegaon placement cell are to arrange soft skill programmes, summer/ project/ industrial training, on-campus and off-campus placement activities, guest-lectures by executives, industrial tours, organising pre-placement talks, arranging mock interviews, organising seminars, lectures and group discussions, arranging and coordinating projects for final year students from various companies, arranging personality development activities and Assisting students in their efforts for pursuing higher education. Which is around 50 percent off your tuition fees. And if you are economically backwards then college also take care of your hostel fees. You need not pay hostel fees.

SSGMCE Shegaon Facilities

Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering, Shegaon provides a wide range of infrastructural facilities for students on the campus premises. SSGMCE Shegaon facilities include a Central Library that has a rich collection of books, titles, periodicals, references and has subscribed to international, national journals with online access journals and print journals. There are five hostels for boys and three hostels for girls which are provided with all necessities. Both the hostels are equipped with modern amenities. The institute has a canteen that serves soft drinks, healthy food, coffee, tea, milk, food packets, etc. to students at reasonable prices. SSGMCE Shegaon facilities include a well-maintained auditorium that has required a pre-function area, centralised air-conditioning, centrally controlled lighting, and BOSE sound system. A dispensary is provided to the students and staff for first aid and other minor cases.
