Sapthagiri College of Engineering, a premier Institute, was established in the academic year 1993-94.  It was sponsored by Lord Venkateswara Educational Trust. The College, was started in the educationally most backward area, Dharmapuri, stands as a punctual shining spot and is a luminary on the royal road to knowledge.   

SEC is located on a sprawling 25 acre campus on Krishnagiri Main road, NH-7, Palacode Taluk , Periyanahalli Village & Post, Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu.  The college is easily approachable from Dharmapuri by either public/private bus or by college bus.

Sapthagiri Engineering College is an Affiliated College of Anna University, Chennai.  It is approved by the AICTE – All India Council for Technical Education.

Admission Procedure

Sapthagiri NPS University courses are offered at UG, PG, Doctorate level. There are 51 courses offered at Sapthagiri NPS University. The courses are offered in fields like Engineering, Computer Applications, Management. Sapthagiri NPS University courses includes BE, MBA, BCA, MCA, M.Tech. The popular courses at Sapthagiri NPS University is BE, MBA, BCA.

• Admission is primarily through TNEA counselling, based on your 10+2 marks 

Eligibility

• Must have passed 10+2 (Academic stream) with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.

M.E / M.B.A / M.C.A - 2 Year Course

Admission Process

• Selection through TANCET, CET, or GATE scores.

Eligibility

• B.E./B.Tech degree in a relevant specialization, with a minimum of 50% aggregate
• Bachelor’s degree (3 years) in any discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in BCA / B.Sc. / B.Com, etc., with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level.

Scholarship

Eligible Students who wish to claim scholarship under the SC/ST & Defense category, whose annual income is more than two lakhs Fifty Thousand (Rs 2,50,000) to Ten Lakhs (Rs. 10.00,000) are hereby informed to collect scholarship application from the office.

The following documents shall be submitted with the application form.

1. CET Order.
2. Defense service personal children dependent Parents service certificate or application - Part A, Part B. / Defense Certificate to be enclosed.
3. Caste certificate.
4. Income certificate.
5. ADHAR Card Number Compulsory.
6. Government employees or pensioners salary certificate / Pay Slip must be enclosed.
7. Students who submit income certificate in the name of the guardian Shall attach death certificate of parent.
8. Student bank Account Number with IFSC / RTGS. Recent Transaction copy.
9. College fees Receipt Zeorx Copy Compulsory.
10. Marks sheet to be enclosed are as follows.

a) 1st Year B.E students - S.S.L.C. & P.U.C
b) 2nd Year B.E students - SSLC, I & II Sem B.E / Diploma
c) 3rd Year B.E students - SSLC, III & IV Sem B.E
d) 4th Year B.E students - SSLC, V & VI SemB E Marks Card.
a) 1st Year M.Tech students - S.S.L.C. & 7th& 8th B.E Marks card.
b) 2nd Year M.Tech students - S.S.L.C. I & II Sem Marks card.

Transport

The college operates its own fleet of buses, connecting the campus with different parts of the city and suburbs. The buses are relocated as needed to benefit students and staff. The transport fee is paid per semester and in advance. Once the fee is paid, it is non-refundable. Use of college transport is optional.
