• In order to get admission into the Sathyabama University B.Tech/B.Sc course, candidates need to meet the required eligibility criteria.

The institute has produced sportsmen of the highest calibre who have represented the country in various sports like volleyball, basketball, etc. There is a tennis court, 2 indoor basketball courts, 2 tennis stands, 2 football fields, 2 hockey fields, and 4 kabaddi courts in the institute campus.

I.T Infrastructure

The computer lab has dedicated Internet Leased line of 155 Mbps and a redundancy link of 100 Mbps, connected to all the terminals throughout the Campus. Students and faculty are free to access the internet. This helps the students to prepare papers on the latest technologies to be presented in various symposiums and seminars. Interested students who are willing to go abroad for further studies can take up tests such as GRE and TOEFL, take up online mock test and also browse through websites of various universities and centres of higher education around the world. The access speed enables the Students and Staff to download and upload files at a fast rate.

Cafeteria

A large Mess Hall with a capacity of 2000 members to dine at the same time enables all students and staff to have lunch and breakfast. A large modem kitchen with steam cooking is attached to the mess hall. A modem bakery and ice-cream making unit are attached to the mess. There is a separate floor one each for Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian in the Mess Block to dine.

Auditorium

There are 4 open theatres and 3 conference halls on campus. All air-conditioned halls are equipped with the latest teaching aids like slide projector, LCD projector, and overhead projector. The conference halls are used for conducting seminars, placement training programs, guest lectures, etc.

Transport Facility

The institute has more than 150 buses that students and faculty members use for commuting from various points in the city to the campus and back.

• All the Buses reach the Campus before 8.45 A.M and leave the campus at 3.30 P.M. on regular working days
• Special buses are operated to support students attending placement training / Special Coaching Classes such as Civil Services Examinations / Accessing Library Facility. These buses generally leave the campus at 5.00 P.M.
