Satyam College of Engineering & Technology (SCET) is a Private, Self-Financing, Non-Minority, Co-educational College established by the Shree Sathyam Educational Trust in 2011. Er. A Thinagar is the Chairman and Mrs Dhanalakshmi A is the Member of the College Governing Body. In the words of the Chairman, "Higher education has an independent as well as instrumental value, i.e., the purpose of higher and professional education must be not only to rationalize the attitudes of the students but also to impart knowledge and improve their professional skills."

Satyam College of Engineering & Technology is located at Satyam Nagar, Aralvaimozhi, Kanyakumari on a 15 Acres campus. It is a semi rural setting in which the college campus stands. The surroundings are blissful and peaceful, away from pollution, making it an ideal setting for higher learning.
