Satyam College of Engineering & Technology (SCET) is a Private, Self-Financing, Non-Minority, Co-educational College established by the Shree Sathyam Educational Trust in 2011. Er. A Thinagar is the Chairman and Mrs Dhanalakshmi A is the Member of the College Governing Body. In the words of the Chairman, "Higher education has an independent as well as instrumental value, i.e., the purpose of higher and professional education must be not only to rationalize the attitudes of the students but also to impart knowledge and improve their professional skills."

Satyam College of Engineering & Technology is located at Satyam Nagar, Aralvaimozhi, Kanyakumari on a 15 Acres campus. It is a semi rural setting in which the college campus stands. The surroundings are blissful and peaceful, away from pollution, making it an ideal setting for higher learning. It has a collection of more than 20000 books spreading across various disciplines such as Literature, Science and Technology. In addition to this we have a large collection of National and International Journals, Magazines and Biographics of great personalities. Above all a huge collection of personality development guides and preparatory books for interview is also available.

We recognize computing as a vibrant and diverse discipline for the scientific development of innovative theories and technologies of our students. Our computer lab has branded computers of latest configuration and quality printers. High speed internet access with Wi-Fi technology at 32 Mbps data rate is available throughout the campus. Here fin our lab we have young and dynamic teaching faculties who take a scientific approach to computing.

It is important for every student to be physically fit and mentally alert for shining as a star in the academics. To enhance this, we offer high quality physical education activities which develop the physical, mental and social ability of every student. The physical education is offered by well experienced trained experts breaking the diverse racial, ethnic and socio-economic barriers among the students community.

Hostel

Our College hostel has well furnished A/C and Non A/C rooms separately both for boys and girls inside the campus. The first year students are provided with a separate hostel away from the senior students. To impart physical as well as mental development to the students, indoor games such as shuttle, table tennis, carom, chess are arranged. The dinning hall is spacious enough to accommodate any number it inmates. Students are supplied with mineral water. Hostellers are given homely car by tutors who are highly educated and they cater to the student’s educational needs.

Transport

Satyam transport assures safe and comfortable journey for both staff and students through their quality buses driven by efficient and well experienced drivers. Our growing college has a fleet of 21 buses, scheduled to ply from various locations all over kanyakumari, Tirunelveli districts and from different parts of Kerala. Weekly service to Trivandrum is also arranged to facilitate hostellers to reach their home safety and conveniently.
