School of Architecture – Coimbatore Institute of Engineering & Technology, also known as SoA CIET was established in the year 2013 by the Kovai Kalaimagal Educational Trust (KKET) with the philosophy of "Light the Light Within." Emphasis is placed on the holistic development of the students coupled with value-based education through sound ethics.

School of Architecture - CIET is situated on a 26.50 Acres scenic and tranquil land, surrounded by lush green hills at Vellimalaipattinam, Narasipuram (PO), Thondamuthur(via),Tamil Nadu. It is 25 Kms away from Coimbatore

School of Architecture - CIET is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by Council of Architecture (CoA) Delhi. CIET is ranked in the top 151–200 by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for its Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program.

The School offers both UG and PG programs in the field of Architecture including B.Arch and M.Arch (Urban Design) Programs for Students. Admissions for B.Arch. degree programme is open to all Indians and foreign nationals, fulfilling the minimum requirements for admission as per the norms of Council of Architecture, New Delhi and Anna University, Chennai and a Pass in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) with minimum of 70 mark. Eligibility for M.Arch (Urban Design) is a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks. Merit Scholarships of a One Year Tuition Fee Waiver will be given to all those who score 75% Marks.
