Founded in 1926, the Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College (GSMC) and the King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital are amongst the foremost teaching and medical care providing institutions in India. Admission Procedure

Admission Criteria

MBBS Admission

KEM Mumbai offers MBBS at the undergraduate level for 5.5 Years, including one year of compulsory rotating medical internship. Admission to MBBS at the institute is based on your NEET UG scores. After a valid score in NEET UG, candidates need to register themselves on DMER, Maharashtra official website to participate in the counselling process. The college allocates 85% of the total seat intakes based on Maharashtra State Quota Seats, and the remaining 15% are filled based on ALL India Quota Seats.

MBBS Eligibility Criteria 

• You must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) from a recognized board.
  
• One must have at least 50% Marks in aggregate in PCB for admission (45% for SC/ST).
  
• Candidates must be at least 17 Years of Age as of December 31.

PG Admission

At the postgraduate level, KEM Mumbai offers MD, MS, PG Diploma and M.Sc courses in various specializations. Eligible candidates with valid scores in NEET PG are selected for admission.

MD & MS Admission

Admission to the MD and MS courses at the KEM Mumbai offers 280 seats annually. Admission to the MD and MS program is based on the score in NEET PG.

MD/MS Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have completed an MBBS degree .
