Shourabh College of Veterinary Science is located in Kheda, Hinuan City, Karauli Dist., Rajasthan.

 
The college is affiliated with the Rajasthan University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner and Approved by Veterinary Council of India (VCI).

 
The BVSc &AH is a five and half year UG Degree course as specified in MVSE, Veterinary Council of India, New Delhi.  The SCVS students are bestowed the degree by RAJUVAS, Bikaner. 

 
The college building is available for Teaching, Research and Extension Education with Modern Clinical, Para- Clinical and Production Departments. Each independent department is equipped with Library, Hostel facilities, Games and Sports, Conference/Meeting Hall, Computer Lab/ARIS Cell, Ambulatory Services, Audio-Visual Classrooms, Waiting rooms, Research labs, Office and Store accommodations.  Five spacious lecture halls accommodate 100 students in each and are provided with audio-visual aids, good lighting and ventilation. The college possesses well equipped spacious laboratories with highly qualified and experienced faculty members of national and international repute.

 
Apart from various Veterinary Science related departments, the college also has Livestock Farm Complex (LFC), Livestock Production Management (LPM), Veterinary Clinical Complex (VCC).

 
The SCVS provides Diagnostic services through the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory and improving the Health and Welfare of thousands of animals through Small and Large Animal Veterinary Teaching Hospitals and our ambulatory services.   The college also contributes to scientific knowledge and understanding through dedicated faculty and staff who carry out basic and Applied Research in areas of Food Safety, Animal Welfare and the Eco-friendly Environment.

 
The hallmark of the SCVS has been the development of human resources to meet the requirements of the society and to promote the socio-economic development of that region.  The core values of knowledge, character, excellence, integrity, transparency, quality and team work, execution with passion, trust, and student -centric learning are closely integrated into the academic programs.  The college has been engaged in the commendable task of improving the quality of education for better management of animals and disease problems, nutrients, water resources, and the environment.  The college encourages and promotes research activities and integrates them with the teaching-learning process. The college has collaborative projects within and outside the campus with a company called "Accuvance Genetics" which is primarily concerned with improving the genetics of the indigenous by improving and collecting semen from high genetic value bulls and is also actively involved in the IVF program.  The students from the college shall get hands-on training through "Accuvance Genetics" and shall have ample opportunities to be employed therein.  Collaboration with world-famous Canine hospitals should provide ample chances for updating their knowledge and skills.  Various educational tours are organized to expose the students to different Livestock & Poultry Farms, Stud Farms, Pharmaceuticals, Feed and Fodder Plants, etc.   In the coming years, more opportunities will be given to expand Educational and Research activities in the national and international arena.  With excellence in Education and Research activities, the college aims to attain Global visibility thereby taking this college to the greater height of Excellence in the years to come.
