Founded in July 2011 by the Shree Sathyam Educational Trust, the college was established with the vision to empower students from rural areas through quality education and research. Dr V Balakrishnan is its Hon. Chairman and Prof. Dr. V. Sujatha. M.E.,Ph.D is the Founder and Principal.

Shree Satyam College of Engineering offers 6 Under Graduate Courses including 6 BE and 2 B.Tech Courses. It also has PG Courses offering 2 M.E Courses.
