To serve and attain this purpose, Shri Annai Educational Trust , founded by by a group of philanthropists with an avowed interest and objective of serving the rural people by providing facilities for a value based quality education to the rural community of Chidambaram T.K. since its inception in 1998, the Trust has been continuously involved in promoting quality Education from pre primary and Higher Education all in one Campus being known by the brand name Shree Raghavendra Group of Institutions that are Ideally situated in a serene atmosphere.

Shree Raghavendra Group of Institutions being the premier and historic group of Institutions had its beginning as Teacher Training Institute established in 1947 and now today it has expanded to the present status with Teacher training institute, Arts & Science College, College of Education, CBSE School and a Play School too.

Shree Raghavendra Arts and Science College was founded in the year 2000 with the aim to deliver quality higher education accessible to all by providing an enriched learning environment that cultivates the talent of youth in a pool. . I’m immensely happy to witness the progress of Shree Raghavendra group of institutions, It has grown to new heights since its inception from Teacher training institute in 1947 with its branches of different Institutions catering to the needs of rural people around Chidambaram. The inception of Shree Raghavendra Arts and Science college was a prominent step to provide promising future for the student community. Now it has grown to new heights Emerging with only 60 students, now it has grown in to a tremendous institution with more than 2000 young minds passing out every year in various courses. I bless all the stakeholders to reach new heights with promising future full of Success in all spheres.

Admission Process
Application for admission to the degree or P.G .programme must be made on the prescribed form which can be had from the college office on payment of prescribed fees or through Online Process.

Students provisionally selected for admission will be called for an interview, along with their parents/guardians, and if finally selected, they should pay the fees on the same day. Selected candidates will be issued admission cards after payment of fees.. All admissions are only provisional until they are validated by the University and the Directorate of Collegiate Education.

The following original certificates shall be produced at the time of admission:

+2 Mark sheet (original with 2 attested Xerox copies)
TC from the institute last studied (original with one attested Xerox)
Conduct certificate (original with 1 attested Xerox)
Community certificate (original with 1 attested Xerox)
Five passport size photos
Eligibility certificate from the University for Students from outside Tamil Nadu.
Provisional certificate and consolidated mark statement for P.G.Admission
Once the admission is made, the original TC submitted by the student will not be returned on any account.

Instructions to submit Application Online
Applicants are required to read the instructions given below carefully, before submission of the online application form.

Received without the payment of application fee.
1. Before submitting the online application form, applicants must upload the following scanned images:

Applicant’s passport size photograph in JPG/JPEG format of maximum 50 KB
Applicant’s signature in JPG/JPEG format of maximum 20 KB
Parent/Guardian’s signature in JPG/JPEG format of maximum 20 KB
Community Certificate (except OC and 'Others' categorie in JPG/JPEG/GIF format of maximum 300 KB
Baptism Certificate (only for Catholic applicants) in JPG/JPEG/GIF format of maximum 300 KB
For UG applicants--attested copy of the tenth, eleventh and plus two downloaded mark statements in PDF/JPG/JPEG format of maximum 300 KB
For PG applicants--attested copies of all available semester mark sheets converted into a single PDF format of maximum 500 KB
2. Documents can be uploaded only after entering marks.

3. Uploading of wrong/irrelevant/illegible documents will lead to the rejection of application.

4. The Unique Application Number (UAN), which will be required for uploading documents, will be generated only after you click the “Save” option on the Preview page.

5. Uploading of documents can be done using the UAN as Username and Date of Birth as Password in the Applicant’s Login on the College website.

6. Applicants can edit the application details before the payment of application fee by clicking on the Login button.

7. Editing/updating details on the application form will not be possible after payment.

8. Applicants have to pay the application fee through Internet banking, credit/debit card only.

9. Application fee will not be refunded on any account even if the application is rejected.

10. Applicants can check application status and application fee status through the Applicant’s Login on the College website.

11. Information regarding applicants called for interview/Admission for all programmes will be sent by e-mail/ SMS

12. Selected applicants must pay the prescribed fees and submit their original certificates with photocopies on the date and time specified. Late Payment will not be accepted.

The Placement Cell continuously make efforts to get placement for students in reputed companies, during their final year of study; this has resulted in students turning into employees right-out of their college life and bring on smile in their parents’ face as their dreams come true. Infrastructure
The sprawling college campus at SRASC is spread over an area of over 10 .11 Acres which includes built up area open space for garden and sports facilities. The teaching- learning process is facilitated in 70 class rooms, 12 staff rooms, 4 state of Art Computer laboratories with 170 Computers with high speed Internet connectivity, a seminar room, an auditorium with built in audio and Viedeo facilities and a well stocked library. The entire college campus is Wi-Fi enabled All class rooms are self contained with good ventilation and lighting .

Library
The Library is well-stocked with books and journals covering almost all aspects of Science. Literature, Commerce & Humanities. It regularly subscribes 5 daily newspapers in Tamil and English... Services offered by the library are circulation, consultation and reference. s. The library has comfortable Reading Rooms .The library remains open from 9.030 a.m to 5.30 p.m on all working days

Computer Labs
There are 4 labs in the college with 180 terminals and Internet facilities for the students and teachers. These labs are also equipped with teaching aids such as LCD Projectors and Scanners. The College wants all its students to be conversant with modern learning aids. The entire college campus is Wi-Fi enabled.

Science Laboratories
A science lab is a workplace for the conduct of scientific research. It helps students to remember the concepts better and to transfer the experience to real-life situations. It is a facility that provides controlled conditions in which scientific research, experiments and measurements may be performed. At SRASC a scientific temperament is nurtured through fully equipped and suitably designed laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Bio Chemistry and Micro Biology.. Students are encouraged to use the facilities for enhancing their innovative and scientific skills. SRASC has the best-designed, spacious, sophisticated and safe Science laboratories. These labs are equipped with the most modern apparatus which encourage students to learn through experiment and research work.

Microbiology Lab
Microbiology Lab is fully equipped with all required equipments such as low & high speed centrifuge, laminar air flow chamber/wood, binocular microscope, digital colony counter, hot air oven and autoclave and water bath.

Bio Chemistry Lab
The Bio Chemistry Lab has emerged as a Prominent and necessary component in the preparation of under graduate students for careers in molecular life Sciences.

Playground
Playground is situated within the college campus. Facilities are available to play volleyball, cricket, football, carom, chess, kho-kho, throw ball, and athletics, with a view of developing a sense of team spirit and to encourage a spirit of healthy environment. Opportunity is provided to all students for practice and participation in various sport events in accordance to their interest.

Aurobindo Auditorium
Aurobindo Auditorium has a seating capacity of 600. Its light and sound system are currently being revamped. The Auditorium hosts various academic and cultural events of the college. It also encourages well-known cultural groups to hold their programmes for the benefit of the students and community.

Canteen
It provides snacks, drinks and lunch at subsidized rates to students and faculty.

Transport
The college has a fleet of 20 buses to transport students and staff from various parts of in and around Chidambaram and its neighbourhood areas to the college and back home Transport facility is provided to all girl students and female staff members. Every student is expected to avail the transport facility in view of safety and to be punctual to come to the college. For Boys Pick up and Drop from Chidambaram Bus stand .

Besides the regular scheduled trips, the facility is extended for occasions like after the college hour Special Coaching classes, Placements and Training, Visit to Local Industries, NSS Camps, etc.
