Admission to Shushruti College of Nursing is conducted according to the guidelines of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), the Indian Nursing Council (INC), and the Karnataka State Nursing Council (KSNC). Candidates seeking admission must obtain and submit the prescribed application form along with the required academic records and supporting documents. Applications are evaluated based on merit in the qualifying examination and fulfillment of eligibility criteria. Selected candidates are required to undergo document verification, pay the prescribed fees, and complete all admission formalities before the commencement of the academic session.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Sc Nursing

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects. A minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology is generally required. Candidates should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the admission year.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing

Applicants must have completed General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from a recognized institution and be registered as a nurse with the State Nursing Council.

M.Sc Nursing

Candidates should possess a B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing degree recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and RGUHS. They must also meet the academic and professional requirements prescribed by the university.

GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery)

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board and satisfy the eligibility norms prescribed by the nursing regulatory authorities. Admission is subject to merit, eligibility, and seat availability.
