Admission Procedure

Admission to B.E is through CET, COMED–K and Management Quota. Admission through CET : Government of Karnataka conducts Common Entrance Test tentatively in the month of April every year. Karnataka domicile students can apply for this test and the allotment of the seats is done online.

B.E / B.Tech - 4 Years Course

Admission Process

KCET or Diploma CET

• Conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority mainly for Karnataka domicile students

• Seats are allotted through online counselling based on rank

• Around 45 percent of seats are reserved for KCET quota

2 COMEDK UGET

• Conducted by Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka for Karnataka and non Karnataka candidates

• Around 30 percent of seats are filled through this exam

3 Management Quota

• Around 25 percent of seats are under management quota

• Minimum eligibility is passing 10 plus 2 with required marks

After counselling or allotment candidates must report to Sir MVIT with original documents and pay fees to confirm admission

Eligibility

• You must have passed 10 plus 2 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects plus one of Chemistry Biotechnology Computer Science or Electronics

• Minimum 45 percent aggregate marks in these subjects for general category and 40 percent for reserved categories

• Minimum age is usually 17 years at the time of admission

M.Tech - 2 Years Course
