Admission to Smt. Gouramma Charantimath Institute of Nursing Sciences, Hungund is conducted according to the regulations of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), the Indian Nursing Council (INC), the Karnataka State Nursing Council (KSNC), and the Government of Karnataka. Admission to the B.Sc. Nursing programme is offered through the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) counselling process for Government quota seats and through the management quota based on merit and seat availability. Applicants must submit the completed application form along with academic records, Transfer Certificate, identity proof, photographs, and other required documents for verification. Final admission is confirmed after document verification and payment of the prescribed fees.

• Admission to B.Sc. Nursing is based on KEA counselling for Government quota seats and management quota admissions, subject to seat availability.

• Applicants must have passed 10+2 with the required subjects and satisfy the eligibility norms prescribed by RGUHS, INC, and KSNC.

• Candidates should submit all required documents, including 10+2 marks cards, Transfer Certificate (TC), Migration Certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar/Identity Proof, passport-size photographs, and other relevant certificates.

• Original documents are verified by the admission committee before confirming admission.

• Selected candidates must pay the prescribed tuition fees and other applicable charges within the stipulated time.

• Admission is granted based on academic merit, fulfillment of eligibility criteria, reservation policies, and seat availability.

• Admission to GNM, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, and M.Sc. Nursing programmes is conducted directly by the institute in accordance with the regulations of RGUHS, INC, and KSNC.

B.Sc. Nursing

• Passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English are compulsory subjects.
• Must secure the minimum qualifying marks prescribed by INC and RGUHS.
• Must satisfy the minimum age requirement specified by the nursing councils.

GNM

• Passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
• Must satisfy the eligibility requirements prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council and the Karnataka State Nursing Council.
