SNS College of Technology, a unit of SNS Group, was founded in 2002 and has been administered and run by Sri.SNS Charitable Trust. The institution was established with the permission of the Government of Tamil Nadu and recognized by UGC.  It is a self-financing, co-educational, autonomous Institution and performs its academic duties with a motto of Sincerity, Nobility and Service (SNS).  A renowned institution of higher learning, SNS College of Technology, a part of SNS Group of Institutions has its roots in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu since 2002.  It is an excelling Institution in the State committed to producing engineers with high calibre and professionalism by accelerating Engineering and Technological education under one roof. 

SNS College of Technology, Coimbatore is situated in a rural area in Sathy on the National Highway (NH-209) in the centre of the city, 12 km from the railroad station and 10 km from the airport and central bus station. SNSCT Coimbatore has a total area of 10.13 acres, of which about 60% is green open space with plants, trees, and other vegetation.

SNSCT is approved by AICTE and affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai confirmed the Autonomous status to SNS College of Technology for a period of 10 years with effect from 2018–19 to 2027–28.  The College is Accredited by NBA and 'NAAC' with the highest A++ Grade and SNS has started to follow a new education strategy called Design Thinking which has 5 elements.

The courses offered by SNS College of Technology have been specifically designed in accordance with industry requirements to make the students job-ready. The college offers 14 Under Graduate Programs and 10 Post-Graduate Programs and 7 Research Programs in the leading fields of Engineering, Technology and Management including B.E./B.Tech. MBA,  MCA, ME/MTech and PhD.  Admission to the courses is done on the basis of the state-level entrance exam i.e. Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) and Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET).  Four departments of the college namely Mech., CSE, ECE & IT are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).  Courses offered by institute are well recognized and acknowlegded by approving body like AICTE. Overall, courses are available for an intake of 1494 from the most aspiring students for higher learning.

For BE/ B.Tech programs:

Candidates applying for BE/ B.Tech are required to apply through TNEA counselling. The process of application is as follows:

• Candidate should register for TNEA by using his/her name, date of birth, gender, mobile number.
• Once the registration is successful, the candidate can proceed to fill the online application form.
• Payment of TNEA application fee (INR 500 for general candidates and INR 250 for reserved category) can be done online.  
• A printout of the completed application form should be taken for future correspondence.

SNS College of Technology Placements

The placement cell of the college monitors the employment opportunities available in various domains. It also arranges guest lectures, workshops, seminars, and pre-placement talks to make the students aware of the process as well as the recruiters. Many of the students have placed in major IT, ITeS and core companies. 

To look at the placement statistics for the 2019 batch, the college witnessed participation from more than 200 companies. Given below are the statistics for the same:

Campus Facilities

Transport system. We operate more than 15 buses in and around Coimbatore district. We also provide transport facility for students and staff members coming from far of places –Tirupur, Palladam, Mettupalayam, Sirumugai, Sathyamangalam, Puliyampatti, etc. Prescribed time slot has been used in each route and the same will be intimated to the students well in advance.
