Admission Criteria

B.Tech Admission

SPHN B.Tech program offers 7 specialisations such as, Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science, etc. Admission to the B.Tech program is through TS EAMCET or merit. The total fee for the B.Tech program ranges from INR 1.14 - 3.86 Lakhs. The counselling date of TS EAMCET is 04.07.2025 (Tentative).

The two types of seats are offered by the SPHN in which 70% of the total seats, called Category-A Seats, will be filled by the Convener of TSEAMCET based on the student's rank in the state-level entrance exam (TSEAMCET). The remaining 30% of seats, called Category-B Seats, will be filled by the college management following the rules of the Government and the guidelines given by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education.

M.Tech Admission

SPHN M.Tech program offers 2 specialisations, such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and Computer Science And Engineering. Admission to the M.Tech program is through TS PGECET. The total fee for the M.Tech program is INR 1.14 Lakhs. The exam date of TS PGECET is 16.06.2025 - 19.06.2025 (Tentative).

Eligibility

• B.Tech 60% of marks in the intermediate examination of Board of Intermediate Education with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination recognized by the JNTUH
• M.Tech Candidates must have graduates in B.E. or B.Tech and have a valid score in TS PGECET

The Sphoorthy Library is a resource center for teaching, learning and research. Being the heart of the academic center, it is home for all the information services. It plays a proactive role in enabling access to information resources of all kind and providing innovative, responsive and effective services to meet the changing needs of the academic community.The major objective of our library is to provide authentic information to the student at any given point of time. The library covers an area of 16,000 sq. ft and is located at the Mokshagundam Visweswarayya Block, is spread over three floors with state of art library, Students Discussion Rooms, Faculty Discussion Room, Reference Section, Circulation Counter, Journals/Magazines and Newspaper Sections are made available at the Lower Level of the library building.

College has three (3) computer labs with state-of-the-art facility. All the computers in the centres are installed with the latest software and hardware. Further, each centre is equipped with uninterrupted power backup.The teaching of information technology and computer-based papers is carried out in the computer centres. In addition, the centres are also available for the students for accessing internet, practice and for preparation of their projects. The center is well maintained with Campus wide LAN network, high speed internet connection and centralised AC.

SPHN is keen on looking after the well-being of all our staff and students. An exclusive health centre has been setup in the second floor of SV-Block. A doctor has been appointed as College Doctor. The Health Centre functions to provide immediate medicinal and first aid to all students and staff if the situation arises. The Health Centre is well equipped with respect to the availability of basic health related facilities like thermometer, sterilizer, auto-clave, dressing drum, weight measuring machine, B. P. Apparatus, patient bed and stretcher etc.

For keeping stress at bay and to enable the students to tolerate the potential stress associated with life, Sphoorthy Engineering College facilitated Yoga Studio in the college. The Yoga studio is available for both students and staff. It aims at improving good health and to integrate the body, mind, and thoughts so as to work for good ends. Yoga helps in retaining the vitality in your body along with keeping it fit. It helps them to maintain harmony of body and spirit. It also increases attention span, improves memory and sharpens the focus of the students. It is also prolific for stress reduction, and emotional wellness.

The living spaces are structured to inspire harmony. We have spared no pains in making the surroundings fresh and green. The Hostel serves as home away from home for these students. Our idea of the dormitories, unlike other institutions, is an area meant for the students to study, relax and socialize. A full-time resident warden who acts as Friend-Guide which makes students feel like family.
