Sreenivasa Institute of Technology and Management Studies (SITAMS) was established in the year 1998-99 under Srinivasa Trust by a prominent industrialist late Dr.D.K.Audikesavulu, Ex.M.P, Former TTD Chairman. Over the last 20 years, SITAMS has made remarkable progress in teaching, research and consultancy in the field of technical education and management studies under the Chairperson Late. Smt. D.A.Sathyaprabha (W/o Late Dr.D.K.Audikesavulu), MLA, Chittoor.(2013-2021) and Chairman Shree K.Ranganatham, former Adviser to the Principle Secretary Engery, Government of A.P. SITAMS, a pioneer of value based education, offers both U.G. (ECE, CSE, CSE(AIML), CSE(AI), CSE(DS), EEE, Civil & Mechanical) and P.G. (MBA, MCA & M.Tech.), courses under JNTUA, Anantapuramu and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The college got 2(f) and 12(b) status by the UGC in the year 2013, Autonomous in the year 2013-14 and NAAC accredited.

The Chairperson and the members of the Governing Body have felt the need of preparing a strategic development plan for the institution in a formal written document format. The mandate was given to the Principal to develop strategic plan 2019-2024 for the institution. The management & top leadership team met and brain stormed on SWOT and stake holders expectations. The Leadership team met a number of times, deliberated in detail and arrived at vision, mission, quality policy and core values for SITAMS. Environment scanning was done keeping vision in mind. The team also discussed about Institutes strategic High Level Goals (USG/HLG) to be achieved by 2024.

The minimum qualification for admission into first year B.Tech course is 45% and above (for OC) and 40% and above for (BC/SC/ST) in Intermediate (10+2) conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects. Admissions to the College are made along with the other Engineering Colleges in the State through a common entrance test (EAPCET) conducted by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.

70% of the seats are allotted by the Convener, APSCHE based on merit in the EAPCET (A-Category).
30% of the seats are earmarked for NRI/Management candidates (B-Category) as per guidelines of APSCHE.
In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted into second year of B.Tech to the extent of 20% of intake based on merit in the ECET, under lateral entry scheme.

Placements: Almost 250 students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, and Accenture. Almost 60% of students got internships
