It is a private aided degree college established in 1968 through the efforts of His Holiness Dr Channabasava Pattadevaru of Hiremath Samsthana Bhalki and Loknayak Sri Bheemanna Khandre. The institution is managed by the Shanti Vardhak Education Society SVE Society Bhalki.
