Sri Raaja Raajan College of Engineering & Technology (SRRCET) is a Top Class Engineering College in Tamil Nadu. It is a Private, Self-Financed, Non-Minority, Co-Educational Institute, which was established in 2010 by Sri Muthumari Charitable and Educational Trust with a view to create an Engineering Degree Institute to fulfill the long felt public need of an Institute of Excellence in Karaikudi. Sri Muthumari Charitable and Educational Trust is a a group of like minded patrons regarded for their academic interest and service to the quality of education. The Trust's Colleges have been functioning as role models for self-supporting institutions. The group is a known as a source for promoting education to the excluded community. The group's objective is to train students in every domain of human activity with a perfect balance of individual growth and community development. They have inculcated innovative programmes and relevant result oriented research programmes in their institutions. The trust is located at Karaikudi.
