Sri Rangapoopathi College of Engineering – SRPCE is one of the Top Colleges in Villupuram Area. Established in the year 2009, it is a Private, Self-Financed, Non-Minority, Co-Educational Institution run by the Sri Rangapoopathi Educational Charitable Trust. Mr R Poopathi Pillai, B.Sc., BL., is the Chairman and Shri P Sripathi, BA, ML is the Secretary. The aim of SRPCE is to develop a disciplined regimented student community who will turn out to be responsible citizens of tomorrow and he always shows a concern towards the slow learners and ensures that the student has understand the concepts, rising to the level of excellence.

Sri Rangapoopathi College of Engineering has its own Green campus spread over 40 acres in Alampoondi, located strategically in the Chennai to Thiruvannamalai State Highways. The campus is about 7 kms from Gingee, 35 kms from Tindivanam and 43 kms from Villupuram. The surroundings of the campus is peaceful and away from pollution and noise, ideally suited for good quality higher education. Chennai International Airport is 140 Kms from the College.
