“Who is Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba?” is a question many people ask. To a spiritual aspirant, he is a Divine Master par excellence; to a rationalist, the greatest of humanitarians on earth; to the millions of modern youth, a leader with a dynamic vision and a colossus of inspiration; to a devotee, he is simply Divinity in human form.

His life and message is inspiring millions of people throughout the world to lead more purposeful and moral lives. Sri Sathya Sai Baba publicly declared his mission in 1940, at the age of fourteen. Since then, he has, by personal example, exhibited the cardinal human values of Truth, Right Conduct, Peace, Love, and Non-violence. He has often stated, “My life is my message.” Each and every day, innumerable pilgrims make their way to the tiny hamlet of Puttaparthi in southern India, where Sathya Sai Baba’s ashram (spiritual headquarters) is located.

His greatest miracle is the power to transform. It takes ages even to bring about an iota of change in a person’s attitude and vision. However, Sri Sathya Sai Baba could transfix and bring about a complete metamorphosis in the human personality in an instant through a mere smile, a word or a gesture. For over seven decades, he performed the same actions of walking amidst devotees, receiving their letters, and speaking a word of solace each time with renewed enthusiasm and joy.

His love and concern for mankind led to the establishment of phenomenal institutions in the field of education, healthcare and social welfare which now act as role models worthy of emulation, across the globe. All these initiatives have been undertaken under the auspices of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, which was founded by Sri Sathya Sai Baba in 1972, and for which he was the Founder Trustee since its inception. By sheer conviction and by outstanding personal example, he guided and spearheaded all the initiatives to fruition and enabled them to reach the exalted state that they have achieved today, thereby carving a special niche for India in the field of socio-spiritual activities.

All aspects of the admission process will be exclusively conducted online, covering Application Submission, Entrance Examinations, Technical Viva, Group Discussion, Aptitude Test (Music), and Interviews, as applicable for each course.

10+2 years of schooling and 3 years of university (total 15 years) as recognized by SSSIHL
Either passed or appeared for Final exams at the Bachelor’s degree level before the date of the Admissions Test
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BA (Hons.)/B.Sc./B.Sc. (Hons.)/B.Com. (Hons.)/BBA/BE/B.Tech.) If not appeared for Bachelor’s degree final exams, aggregate marks in all the preceding Years/Semesters put together will be considered
Age: preferably below 28 years on 31 May in the year of admission
Note: All applicants of the B.Ed. programme must choose one of the four pedagogy subjects (Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences or Social Studies) for the entrance test and indicate the same on the application form
The degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at SSSIHL is currently available across nine of the University’s departments. The Ph.D. is intellectually demanding and students must have a high level of attainment and motivation to pursue this programme of advanced study and research. The University provides excellent research facilities, including the SSSIHL Central Research Instruments Facility and SSSIHL Central Research Laboratory.

Placements: The packages offered in my course ranges from 30k-5k INR per month. Startups visit our college oftenly and MNCs such as Wipro, Tata, Infosys, etc. The college provides good placements.

Buildings and Grounds
All the campuses of the University have spacious, beautiful and artistically designed buildings which stand out for their simplicity and elegance. In order to facilitate effective teacher-student interaction, the classrooms are designed to handle optimal sizes of thirty students each. Supplementing these are the seminar halls and conference rooms with multi-media facilities. The sprawling lawns and well-maintained grounds give each campus its own character and feel.

Sri Sathya Sai International Centre for Sports
A state of the art Olympic-standard multi-discipline indoor stadium was inaugurated on 22 November 2006, by the President of India, Honourable Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam.

With facilities for Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Squash, Table-tennis, Badminton, Gymnastics and Yoga/Aerobics, this stadium – measuring 100 metres by 60 metres on a 4.8 acre site, is amongst the largest open-frame space domes in the country. It has a spectator capacity of 4,000.

Sri Sathya Sai Hill View Stadium
A multi-purpose outdoor stadium, the Sri Sathya Sai Hill View Stadium was constructed for the purpose of conducting the Annual Sports and Cultural meet of all Sri Sathya Sai Educational institutions (an annual event on 11 January).

The stadium overlooks an array of imposing structures and statues symbolizing different religious faiths. On occasions, the stadium hosts International sports events. It boasts a viewers gallery that can accommodate over 25,000 people.
