Admission Procedure
Sri Shanmugha College of Engineering and Technology (SSCET), Salem, offers undergraduate (B.E./B.Tech) and postgraduate (M.E./M.Tech) programs affiliated with Anna University, Chennai, and approved by AICTE. The admission process is governed by the norms prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu and is conducted through both Government and Management Quotas

Admission process
TNEA Application: Register and apply through the TNEA portal.
Random Number Assignment: Assigned by Anna University for tie-breaking.
Document Verification: At TNEA Facilitation Centres.
Counselling: Based on merit and preferences.
Seat Allotment: If allotted, report to SSCET for admission formalities.
Eligiblity
Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Admission process
TANCET/GATE Application: Register and apply for the respective entrance exam.
Counselling: Conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu based on TANCET/GATE scores.
Seat Allotment: Report to SSCET for admission formalities if allotted.
Eligiblity
Candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
