Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, commonly known as SVMCHRC, is a private medical institution located in Puducherry. It was established in 2007 by Shri B. Ramachandran under the Ramachandra Educational Trust. The college aims to provide quality medical education, healthcare services, and promote research for the benefit of society.

The college is situated in Ariyur, around 16 kilometers from Puducherry city, along the Puducherry–Villupuram highway. The campus spans 80 acres and provides a peaceful, semi-urban environment suitable for academic and clinical training.

candidates must qualify the NEET-UG exam, have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with a minimum aggregate score, and apply through the CENTAC Pondicherry counselling for state quota seats or MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) for All India Quota seats

• NEET UG 2025: Candidates must appear for and qualify in the NEET UG 2025 examination conducted by NTA.

• Counselling: Admissions are conducted through the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Government of Puducherry. Only NEET-qualified candidates are eligible to participate in the counselling process.

• Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on NEET rank, category, and availability under various quotas.

Eligiblity

• Age: Minimum 17 years as of December 31, 2025.

• Academic Qualifications: Completion of 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.

  • General Category: Minimum 50% aggregate in PCB.

  • SC/ST/OBC Categories: Minimum 40% aggregate in PCB.

  • PwD Candidates: Minimum 45% aggregate in PCB.

• Mandatory Entrance Exam: NEET UG 2025 qualification is required for all categories.

• Domicile Requirements:

Eligiblity

• Educational Qualification: Possession of an MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognized under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

• Internship: Completion of one year of internship or likely to complete the internship on or before June 30, 2025.

• Registration: Permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.

• Entrance Exam: Valid NEET PG 2025 score.

• Post-Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Caste (SC) Students: This scheme is implemented by the Government of Puducherry to support students pursuing education at the post-matric level.
