Sri Venkateswaraa Medical College Chennai, a Private University incorporated under Tamil Nadu Private Universities Act 2019, is one of the prestigious medical institutes founded in 2022. The Founder-Chairman of the College is Shri. B. Ramachandran, a successful educationalist and visionary. The University intends to establish world class infrastructure to facilitate Medical, Dental, Paramedical, Nursing and Agriculture education through its campuses in the State.  Sri Venkateswaraa Medcity - School of Allied Health Science, Chennai is a 300 beds Medical College hospital owned by the University. • Candidates must appear for and qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

• The NEET UG score is the primary criterion for admission.

• Seats are allotted under various quotas:

  • Government Quota (SQ): 85% of seats reserved for Tamil Nadu domiciled candidates.

  • Management Quota (MQ): Seats available for candidates from any state.

  • NRI Quota: Seats reserved for Non-Resident Indian candidates.

• Candidates must participate in the counselling process and secure a seat based on their NEET UG rank and preferred quota.

Eligiblity

• Candidates must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with the following subjects:

• A minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology is required for General category candidates.
