The placement cell helps to assist the development of students with a balanced set of Technical and Interpersonal skills. All the training programs are conveyed by industry experts through both Classroom Training and LVC (live virtual class).

Spread over 10 acres of tranquil landscape and a built up area of 1,50,000 sq.ft, which houses lecture halls, a library, labs, workshops, seminar hall, canteen and residential area. These have been designed with meticulous attention to detail and thoughtful use of design and space, making it a truly ambient environment to pursue higher studies. The vibrant interiors, lush green outdoors and exquisite touches lend the college an ambiance that is as delightful as it is inspiring. We at VVIT believe that the availability of new technology can make learning more creative, interactive and information-driven by using multifaceted delivery techniques.

The library is managed by qualified and experienced librarian Mr. Praveen, M. Lib, B. Lib, supported by other staff members. At present, the library has a stock of 10,456 volumes of books. The library also subscribed to over 98 journals, of which 56 National journals and 42 International Journals. Handbooks, standard manuals, technical reports and conference proceedings are provided. The digital library section houses an extensive range of CD-ROMs, DVDs and access to online journals. E-Journals are also made available to the students with J-GATE subscription which provides access to more than 2000 full-text journals and 6000 bibliographic text. The library serves as a rich workspace for students to do research and referencing. And to enable the student to spend adequate time at the library, the library works beyond college hours & the reading room is accessible to students on Sundays as well. As the proverb goes “All work & no play makes Jack a dull boy”, sports, fitness & leisure activities are essential for the healthy overall physical & mental development of an individual. To fulfill this, the college has taken measures in all directions. The department of Physical Education and Sports focuses to imbibe in student’s discipline, team skills, leadership qualities and the sense of belonging through sports activities and practice of Yoga.

Hostel

The Students hostels at VVIT provide the best of comforts to our students, ensuring that they feel at home in our hostels. The college provides separate residential facilities for boys and girls. The hostels are efficiently administered to provide the right atmosphere for student life.

The facility caters to the needs of students from all over the country. Located conveniently within the college campus, the well-furnished hostels are equipped with modern amenities like recreation centers, Televisions, Wi-Fi connectivity, generators, UPS, hot water supply and water coolers with RO purification units. The well maintained catering service prepares hygienic and nutritious food and works round the clock to meet the needs of students, faculty and guests.

In addition to security personnel who guard the hostels 24/7, all the common areas are provided with CCTV cameras to ensure thorough monitoring & fool-proof safety for our students. Doctors are available on call to attend to any urgent medical needs of the students.

Currently, Boys Hostel has a capacity of 300 students while the Girls hostel can accommodate 200 students.
