The College is promoted and managed by Sisters of DMI. Rev,Fr.Dr. J E Arulraj is the Founder & Chairman of DMI & MMI Group of Institutions.SJCET is built on a 15 Acres Campus and can be located at A.S.Nagar, Elupatti Village, Rawaspatti Post, Thanjavur Dist. The closest traffic hubs to the college are Thanjavur Bus Stand which is 4 Kms from the college, Thanjavur Railway Station is 9 Kms away and Tiruchirapalli is the nearest Airport, 50 Kms away.

Admission Procedure

Prospective students can obtain the application form from the college's official website or campus. The completed form, along with necessary documents such as mark sheets, transfer and conduct certificates, community and nativity certificates, and passport-sized photographs, should be submitted with the requisite registration fee. Overseas applicants are required to remit the registration fee via demand draft. Incomplete applications or those lacking required documents will be rejected.

Admission Process

Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved categories). Admissions are conducted through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling process managed by Anna University. Applicants need to register online for TNEA, participate in the counseling sessions, and select St. Joseph's College of Engineering as their preferred institution.

Eligibility

• Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination (10+2) or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  
• A minimum aggregate of 45% marks is required for general category candidates; a relaxation of 5% is applicable for reserved categories.
  

M.E, M.B.A - 2 Year Course

Admission Process

• Register for TANCET conducted by Anna University.
  
• Participate in TANCA counseling for seat allocation.
  
• Management Quota admissions are also available; candidates must appear for an entrance examination conducted by the college.
• A Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). (For MBA)

• Diesel bunk inside the campus supplies diesel for all our buses.
