WELCOME TO ST. LOUIS COLLEGE FOR THE DEAF :

St. Louis College for the deaf, Adyar, Chennai was founded in 1993 by Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel which is registered under Societies Registration Act of 1860. The primary aim of St. Louis College is to impart University Education to the hearing impaired students in our country. St. Louis College is the first college for the deaf in India and second in Asia. This College offers two UG Courses and one PG Course namely B.Com., B.C.A and M.Com. This College is affiliated to the University of Madras.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

The following documents should be produced for the Admission Process.
Candidates should send the below documents (original) in scanned format to
our College Mail ID (stlouiscollegefordeaf@gmail.com).
+2 – ORIGINAL Mark Sheet (In case the candidate cannot produce the
ORIGINAL Mark Sheet during Admission, then produce the Mark
Sheet (Internet Copy).
Transfer Certificate (ORIGINAL).
Conduct Certificate (ORIGINAL) from the Head of the Institution
where She/He studied last.
Community Certificate (ORIGINAL).
National ID with Audiogram (ORIGINAL).
Income Certificate (ORIGINAL) – New.
Passport Size Photo (3 Nos) (40 KB) with White Background in a CD or
send it through mail – stlouiscollegefordeaf@gmail.com (If it is in CD,
then mention the name of the Candidate).
UNIQUE NATIONAL AADHAAR CARD (ORIGINAL) should be produced.
It can be obtained through online.
AADHAAR CARD (XEROX).
Kalaignar (or) Amma Health Insurance (ORIGINAL) – (Optional)
If the parent is a Farmer, then submit the UZHAVAR PAADHUKAPPU
CARD for applying UZHAVAR PAADHUKAPPU SCHOLARSHIP.
(ORIGINAL) (Optional)
After the Admission Process, Student should open a new Bank A/C for
Scholarship purpose in UNION BANK OF INDIA, ST. MICHAEL’S BRANCH,
ADYAR.
