St. Peter's College of Engineering and Technology, also known as SPCET, is an Autonomous, co-educational college established by the Lakshmi Saraswathi Educational Trust in 2008. Dr S Poorna Chandra is the Principal & Director of the Institution.

The SPCET campus is located on College Road, Avadi, Chennai. It is approx. 20 Kms away from Chennai Airport and is at close proximity to Avadi Railway Station and Avadi Bus Stand.
The College has approval from AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai

SPCET provides 4 B.Tech Courses, 6 B.E Courses, 4 M.E Courses, B.Arch and 6 MBA courses
