St. Sebastian Composite Pre-University College was started on 01-07-2001 under the management of the Catholic Board of education society of Mangalore Diocese. The Government of Karnataka upgraded the college St. Sebastian High School into Pre-University College and granted (ED 138/SHH/ 2000 dated 25-06-2001) to start the Pre-University College with Arts, Commerce and Science combinations. The Pre-University College has created a name in the field of education and rendered education to the poor and backward classes of Mangalore south region and neighbouring Kasaragod district. A Pre-University course encompasses the final two years of higher secondary education, which is equivalent to classes 11 and 12 of CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), or plus 1 and plus 2 in other similar boards of education, in other states of India.

The whole admission process for all the courses offered is offline and merit-based. Any candidate who fulfills the minimum eligibility criteria can take part in the admission process. Admission to all the courses is based on the marks scored by the applicant in the concerned qualifying examination.

Admission to the course is open to all students who have passed the recognized Secondary School leaving certificate examination or other equivalent examinations approved by the Department of PUE Board, Bangalore, Karnataka.

How to Apply:
The prescribed application form and the prospectus can be obtained on payment of the specified fees at the college office.

The candidates must be studying in Classes 11 and 12 at a recognised educational institution in India. Applicants must have scored at least 60% marks in the preceding class. The annual family income of the applicants from all sources must be less than or equal to₹2,50,000.
