Admission to St. Thomas College of Engineering & Technology, Alappuzha, is carried out according to the guidelines of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), Kerala, and the Government of Kerala. Students seeking admission to undergraduate engineering programmes can apply through the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Entrance Examination (KEAM) conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala. Candidates can also apply through management quota as per the rules and regulations of the institution. The admission process includes entrance qualification verification, allotment procedures, document submission, and fee payment. Postgraduate admissions are conducted based on eligibility criteria prescribed by KTU and AICTE, with preference given to candidates having valid GATE scores wherever applicable.

• Candidates must pass Higher Secondary Examination (Class 12) or equivalent.
• Must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Chemistry/Computer Science/Biology/Biotechnology as one of the additional subjects.
• Minimum marks requirement should be as per AICTE and KTU norms.
• Candidates must qualify in KEAM or meet management admission criteria.
