The Thiru K. Subramania Nadar – Vadivoo Ammal Educational Trust was founded in 2010 through the visionary efforts of Thiru S. Thangapazham, a distinguished industrialist and philanthropist, in honor of his parents. His son, Thiru S. T. Murugesan, has been instrumental in supporting his father in the establishment of the Trust. Together, they are recognized as leaders with foresight and integrity. Their mission is to enhance education in rural areas that are educationally disadvantaged, providing students with easier access to quality higher education and fostering the confidence they need to achieve success. The Trust is led by Thiru S. Thangapazham as Chairman and Thiru S. T. Murugesan as Managing Trustee, both of whom are dedicated to the lifelong pursuit of excellence in education. The Trust manages four educational institutions renowned for their high standard of education in southern Tamil Nadu. S. Thangapazham Law College was established to honor the legacy of Shri K. Subramania Nadar and Vadivoo Ammal, parents of Thiru S. Thangapazham. The college commenced in the 2022-2023 academic year. The primary goal of S. Thangapazham Law College is to provide quality legal education at a global level.

STLC is located at Vasudevanallur, Tenkasi on a gigantic 118 Acres Campus. The College is in an absolute green atmosphere devoid of pollution and making it ideal for education. Tenkasi Railway Station is 40 Kms from the College and Madurai Airport is 119 Kms away.STLC is affiliated with Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University (TNDALU), Chennai, and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi.

STLC has Two Under Graduate Courses to offer currently. It has the 5-Year Integrated B.A., L.L.B and the 3-Year L.L.B Programme options. Eligibility for admission to the 5 Year Course is a pass in HSC with 50% Marks and for the 3 Year course it is a Graduation Pass in any discipline with 45% Marks. The sanctioned per year Intake is 60 Students for each academic course per year.

STLC has good Infrastructure and Facilities. The Institution has been established with smart classrooms including air conditioning, Smartboard that facilitate the students in making their learning process out of tedium. The newly imported benches made of wood make the students more comfortable in accommodating themselves in the classrooms.
