About Institution

Thiru K. Subramania Nadar – Vadivoo Ammal Educational Trust was established in 2010 with the visionary efforts of Thiru S. Thangapazham, an eminent industrialist and philanthropist in the name of his parents. Thiru S. T. Murugesan his son gives great support to his father in establishing Trust. They are leaders with foresight and integrity. Their vision is to enrich education to promote the interests of students in rural areas which are educationally backward to offer them easy access to qualified higher education and to build confidence in them to prove their realm of success. The Trust functions with Thiru S. Thangapazham as Chairman and Thiru S. T. Murugesan as Managing Trustee, thereby sharing the commitment in the pursuit of excellence in all things as a lifelong endeavor and running four more educational Institutions which are well known for the quality of education in the southern district of Tamil Nadu.

S.Thangapazham Law College was established in the honor of Shri.K.SubramaniaNadar and VadivooAmmal parents of Thiru.S.Thangapazham. The Institution was started in the academic year 2022-2023.The college approved Bar Council of India, New Delhi, and affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai.

The main goal of the S Thangapazham Law College is to evolve and impart the quality legal education in the global level.

B.A., LL.B., Integrated Degree Course:

Educational Qualification for Admission:

Candidate should have passed Higher Secondary (10 +2) and should have secured 40% of marks in aggregate in the qualifying degree Course.

LL.B Degree Course:

Educational Qualification for Admission:

– Candidate should have passed any Bachelor’s Degree Course Of any University recognized by UGC and should Have secured 45 % of marks in aggregate.

Moot court facilitates the students an opportunity to participate in proceedings similar to that of a real court.

The students are trained in various skills like drafting briefs (memorials), oral arguments, research works by eminent Judges, Lawyers, and Guest Faculty members. The professional skills are embedded and shaped through moot court which helps them in their professional career.

The Free Library offers wireless networking to visitors at all locations during its operating hours FREE of charge. Legal Aid Centre 

The legal aid committee aims to make justice accessible to all. It gives free legal advice and assistance to the weaker section of society. The legal aid committee of S.Thangapazham Law College aims to extend legal assistance to the people who cannot afford it. It is constituted for the purpose of organizing legal aid camps for the underprivileged which in turn would create legal literacy amongst them.

Health Centre 

The Legal Service Clinic comprising faculty members and students offers legal and paralegal services by conducting door-to-door campaigning, awareness programs, and legal literacy programs. 

Transport

The Institution provides transport facility from almost all parts of the city. One need not worry about commuting to the varsity.
