Sunrise University (SRU), Alwar was established in the year 2011. The university is approved by UGC, AICTE and NBA. It offers various Undergraduate, Post Graduate, Diploma, Integrated (5 years), Certificate and Research courses.

• Minimum eligibility to apply for Diploma in Polytechnic, Diploma in Tour, Travel and Hotel Operations, Certificate in Fireman Training is 10^th  Standard with a valid score.
• Lateral Entry to Diploma in Polytechnic is allowed in the 2^nd year of the course to the candidates having passed ITI or 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the subjects
• Applicants to B.Tech. Program, and D.Pharma. must pass 10+2 with minimum 40% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology as the subjects.
• Lateral Entry to B.Tech. program is allowed in the 2^nd year of the course to the candidates having a diploma in Polytechnic.
• M.Tech. courses are open for the candidates with B.Tech./ M.Sc. Degree (In IT or Physics.) with 45% marks.
• Candidates seeking admission to Advance Diploma in Tour, Travel & Hotel Operations must hold either a Diploma in Tour, Travel & Hotel Operations or must have passed 10+2 with a valid score.
• Admissions to BBA, BBM, BHM, DCA, Diploma & PG Diploma in Animation, B.Sc. Animation, BCA, B.Com., B.A. programs are open for the candidates who have scored at least 40% marks in 10+2.
• MBA, PGDCA, MCA, M.A., M.Com. Programs are offered to the candidates who hold graduation degree with 40% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• Minimum eligibility to apply for LLB, BA + LLB, BBA + LLB integrated programs, M.Sc., MSc. Agriculture is 45% marks in Graduation.
• The applicants to LLM must hold an LLB degree with a valid score.
• Applicants to B.Pharm. B.Sc. and B.Sc. (Hons.) must pass 10+2 with minimum 45% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology/Agriculture as the subjects.

The minimum eligibility criteria for taking admission in Polytechnic Diploma and Tour, Travel & Hotel Operations (DTTH) course requires a candidate to have passed 10^th Standard with a valid score.

However, for admission to Advance Diploma in Tour, Travel and Hotel Operations, DCA, and Diploma & PG Diploma in Animation the candidate must hold DTTH or passing marks in 10+2 with a valid score.

Candidates seeking admission to PGDCA must hold a Bachelor’s Degree with 40% marks or equivalent.

• For Polytechnic Diploma the candidate must pass 10^th standard as a regular course.

SRU offers admission to B.Tech. Program to the candidate who have passed 10+2 with minimum 40% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the subjects.

LLB program is offered to the candidates with 45% marks in Graduation. B.Sc., BCA, B.Com. B.A., programs are open for candidates with at least 40% marks in 10+2.

Whereas, the applicant looking for admission in BJMC course must have 50% marks in 10+2.
