Surya Group of Institutions, is a very famous and well known group of educational institution in the vicinity of Villupuram. The Group was established in the year 2009-10. It is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Institution.

The Institution is located on a large and serene campus on the GST Road at Surya Nagar, Vikravandi Village, Villupuram District, Tamil Nadu.

It is an Integrated Campus which was introduced by the AICTE, New Delhi in 2009-10 basically to reduce cost of education per student. This scheme allows institutions to optimally utilize its infra structure by operating different kinds of institutions. It gets the status of a mini-deemed University being an Integrated Campus. All facilities and infra structure are used by all the Institutions under the group.

Surya College of Engineering, Surya Polytechnic College, Surya School of Pharmacy, Surya School of Architecture and Surya School of Management Studies are under the same umbrella of Surya Group of Institutions.

The College offers 8 Under Graduate B.E Courses and 2 B.Tech Courses spread across disciplines and 4 Post Graduate M.E Courses. There is also the School of Pharmacy, Polytechnic, Management and Architecture. Other programs on offer are B.Arch, B.Pharm, D.Pharm and MBA
