SVS Group of Institutions (SVSGI) is a private, self-financed educational institution located in Warangal, Telangana. It was established in 1986 by Dr. E. Thirmal Rao along with Dr. E. Suvarna under the Thirumala Educational Society. The institution was founded with the vision of providing quality higher education and creating skilled professionals who contribute to society. Library is the soul of our educational institution. Keeping in view intensive and extensive use, the library being constantly enriched by the acquisition of latest books and journals keeping in pace with changing times, to further advancement of the college academic activities. The institution updates the internet connection as and when required. The available internet bandwidth is100 MBPS provided by BSNL is updated in 2021 from 50 MBPS to 100 MBPS. A second backup line by REACH is provided with a bandwidth of 100MBPS and a dedicated line of 50 MBPS, given for examination branch. ACT is provided with a bandwidth of 100MBPS Speed. Now upgraded to 100 MBPS with BSNL

Well equipped with modern facilities, Central Library is with an area of 1200 sft. It has seating capacity of 300 persons and follows Open Access System. Specialized collection of books, journals and non-book material are available in Engineering, Technology and Management. Our collection has over 54818 Volumes of books, 6840 Titles. The college subscribes about 168 National and International journals. Responding to the varying needs of the academic community by involving faculty, students and administration in the development and periodic assessment of library services and resources. Library provides an environment conducive to the optimum use of library materials and an appropriate schedule of hours of service and professional assistance.

Volleyball Ground, Shuttle courts and vast place for playing cricket is available in front of the hostel building for the hostellers. Bats, cricket balls, shuttle rackets, nets, etc. are provided for use by the hostellers apart from the indoor games like caroms, chess, etc.There is an understanding with Kalki Hospital in Ghatkesar for provision of Ambulance and immediate medical treatment during medical emergencies to students of the hostel.

Hostel

Spacious rooms of size 22 X 20 ft. (440 sq. ft) for 4 students are provided. Each room has two attached bathrooms.Rest Rooms: Each room has two western type rest rooms (bathrooms) i.e one rest room for two students with round the clock running water facility.

Study rooms cum Common Halls:

Separate study rooms cum common halls are provided for boys and girls to enable the students to study during late nights, without disturbing the sleep of other roommates.

Mess:

Separate mess is provided for boys and girls. The boys mess of size 2600 sq. ft. is very spacious with good wash basins, dining tables, sufficient ceiling fans, and food serving platform. The girls mess is of 1200 sq. ft. size.

Transport

In a mode, vehicles are the trademark carriage of SVS and they ease daily commuting issues of the students. The Expert and experienced staffs manage transport system promptly. SVS vehicles touch every nook and corner of the City. There are more than 10 buses doing services up and down. Almost 60% of the students Utilize institution’s transport facilities, which help them to reach the campus on time.
