The year was 1993 when T. John College with its premises in Campbell Road, Austin Town, Bangalore – 47 begun. The college started by Dr. Thomas P John, son of Mr. T. John former Minister in the Govt.Of Karnataka offering a 3 year BHM (Hotel Management) Degree course to 24 students.
The college also offered the BBM and BSc (CMS) courses. Since a humble beginning in 1993, there has been no looking back and every year the college crosses new milestones.
A decade later the college premises has expanded to include new departments and blocks and spread over an area of 20 acres of land donated by Mr. T. John. Cosmopolitan and secular in ethos and philosophy, T. John College attracts students from all over India and many foreign countries.
The college is governed by a governing Board, the present Chairman being Dr. Thomas P. John.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Any degree with 50% marks (45% SC / ST / OBC / Category Applicable only for Karnataka students) in the aggregate from a recognized university.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
A pass in 10+2/XII std. PUC etc. in any combination.
Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
Any degree with a minimum of 50%marks(45% SC/ST/OBC- Applicable only for Karnataka students) in aggregate (all subjects including languages) of 3 years with mathematics/statistics in degree level or 50% marks in mathematics/statistics in 10+2 level.

Candidates who have passed D. Pharma course with not less than 50% (5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST/OBC Applicable only for Karnataka students) aggregate and approved by pharmacy council of India shall be admitted directly to IInd B.Pharma course
Master of Pharmacy
A candidate who has passed B.Pharm degree examination of RGUHS who has secured not less than 55%(5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST/OBC Applicable only for Karnataka students) of the maximum marks.

The minimum qualification is 10+2. It must be passed with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology subjects. For admission to this course, candidates must have completed 17 years of the year of admission.
