Thavathiru Santhalinga Adigallar Arts and Science, Coimbatore In 1939 H.H. Aarumuga adigalar became the head pontiff of the mutt. He rendered his service for about 38 years. In 1950 H.H. Ramasamy adigalar became the junior pontiff and in 1967 H.H. took the charge of head pointff.

  He renderd his educational service as a professor, principal and secretary of the College. Simplicity, hardworking, perseverance, hospitality, and the uttermost involvement in commitment and on tamil language are some of his praiseworthy qualities.

  He toiled with his flowers and developed the mutt and establish educational institution. In 1972 madras university selected H.H as syndicate member. H.H rendered religious service as well as educational service.

Museum

   Since early times various kinds of plant materials were used in India for making manuscripts.

   Large collections of manuscripts on palm leaves are found in museum and libraries everywhere in this area.

   In various regions where the use of palm leaves is in practice people also use the vernacular terms which often imply a particular variety of leaf.

   Authoritative literature on palm leaf conservation is rare.
