Tontadarya College of Engineering, Gadag, an undergraduate engineering college established in the year 1997 is one of the Top 10 colleges in North Karnataka.  The College has successfully celebrated its Silver Jubilee Year (1997 - 2023).  TCE has a clear vision and objective, in its quest for being an outstanding ‘Centre for Learning’ and ‘Centre for Development of Human Resource’ which is conducive to the fast changing and evolving Global situations.  It strictly adheres to a policy of consistent recruiting highly qualified teachers, specializing in various domains of Engineering.

 
Tontadarya College of Engineering, located in a lush green, pollution-free campus that spans approximately 10 acres and 2 guntas. TCE offers a diverse set of UG Courses in BE covering 7 disciplines, namely Mechanical Engineering [ME], Electronics and Communication Engineering [ECE], Computer Science and Engineering [CSE], Civil Engineering [CE], Electrical and Electronics Engineering [EEE], Computer Science & Design [CSD] {NEW} and Agricultural Engineering [AE] {NEW}.  Apart from these the college also offers 1 PG program, MTech in Computer Aided Structural Engineering [CASE] {NEW}.

Library

The TCE has excellent library and information center with the name “JNANA SANGAMA” to facilitate and cater to the needs of Curriculum, research and general reading. The 1000 sq/mtr area building is one of modern state of art building in the region and spacious with large reading halls. The Library is having a collection of information resources with over 34250 volumes, 6120 Titles covering all branches of Science and engineering, encyclopedias, dictionaries, hand Books, data Books etc. worth of 84 Lakhs. Worth of 84 Lakhs. Digital library established to support CD/DVD resources, 12000+ e-Books, and 15000+ e-Journals. It has access to online resources through VTU E-Consortium with ASCE Online, IEL Online, Springer link, Open-j-Gate, Elsevier, T&F, CNC Press, and The Library is extended its Inter Library Loan Service with the help of DELNET to fulfill the user’s needs.

SPORTS, HEALTH AND FITNESS

Taking part in sports at the College is a great way to keep fit, make friends and unwind after academic work studies. TCE has outdoor and indoor sports facilities including Gymnasium, Table Tennis, Volley ball, Football and Cricket stadium. The multi-gym station helps students to opt interest in sports and keep fit for healthy.
