Admission Procedure

University College of Engineering, Pattukkottai admissions are primarily based on TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) counseling. Candidates apply online through the TNEA website, and are selected based on their +2 (HSC) exam scores and rank. After the rank list is published, candidates participate in online counseling, choice filling, and seat allotment.

Admission process

TNEA 2025 registration opened on May 7 and closed on June 6. All eligible students (10+2 PCM, ≥45% Gen/SBC, ≥40% Reserved) must apply online and pay the fee (₹500 general; ₹250 SC/ST/SCA)

Eligiblity

• Have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, scoring at least:

  • 45% aggregate for General category

  • 40% for Reserved categories

• Alternatively, Diploma holders with a minimum of 45% are eligible for lateral entry
