Vardhman Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) is a government medical college now popularly known as Bhagwan Mahavir Institute of Medical Sciences (BMIMS). Established in 2011, the institute was affiliated with the Bihar University of Health Sciences and previously affiliated with Aryabhatta Knowledge University. VIMS Pawanpuri was recognized by the Medical Council of India and is located in Pawapuri, Nalanda, Bihar.

VIMS Pawapuri offers MBBS and BSc Nursing at the undergraduate level and MD/MS at the postgraduate level. Admission to MBBS and BSc Nursing is based on the score obtained in NEET UG and BCECE BSc Nursing examination, respectively. Admission Criteria

MBBS Admission

VIMS Pawapuri offers MBBS at the undergraduate level for a duration of 5 years. The institute offers 120 seats for MBBS, which are filled based on the score obtained in NEET UG. Bihar NEET UG Counselling will offer admission to 85% of State Quota Seats, while admission to 15% of AIQ seats will be based on counselling conducted by MCC.
